I'm sure that it would be fine as a face soap, as it does not leave a film on your skin. But facial skin is more sensitive and delicate than the skin on the rest of your body, that it is better to use cleansers more specific for your face.

I can use it on my face, and I have very sensitive dry skin. I do always put moisturizer on immediately afterwards, though, as I do any time I cleanse my face. But it is very gentle to my skin.

Body soap. Since it is a natural product, they don't put the additive in it that will keep it from stinging your eyes. If you do get it in your eyes....it hurts like crazy (happened on accident to me). I would definitely not use it on the face.

Body. I would not use this on my face as the skin on the face is far more sensitive than body, and therfore different formulas are made.

I've used both, but have not really noticed a difference. I do prefer Loc'tane because I believe it to be of a higher quality and lasts longer. I mean an 8oz. bar lasts forever!

The "Milk Milk" is a bit richer (more moisturizing), but the "Extra Gentle" is much easier on the skin-would be great for babies/children.

This soap has no chemical based products. I have been using this product for at least 7 yrs. I was initiated through a shopping club on TV and when they no longer carried this product, I almost went crazy and found this line of beauty product and have been ordering 2-5 bars as not to run out. Keep up the good work

As the description says, it's 100% vegetable based. The milk contains no added oils - just the shea butter. I'm not sure about the lavender or verbena because I can't use anything with a scent, but given the company - I would say natural - not chemical.
