This is not fragrance-free, and it personally set off my (usually mild) allergies. I tossed the second half of my sample because I just couldn't stop sneezing. The fragrance finally seemed to wear off after about 20-30 minutes, and I did like the feel of the cream on my skin, but the scent and my reaction to it is not worth it.

There is a very light fragrance from the Immotelle flower when first applied, but I find that it does not linger.

It's not fragrance free, but the fragrance is very delicate. I find it very appealing, and the smell of things is very important to me!

This is not specifically a face cream, however, you can definitely use it on your face. It's more of a hand and body cream.

Question
Is this ok for acne-prone skin?
I'm 31 hispanic but very fair skinned. I have VERY sensitive skin and I go thru some periods where I break out and my skin gets red. (Mostly chin & cheeks) I've switched moisturizers a few times to try and get wrinkle prevention, but and I end up going back to Neutrogena evertime because it won't cloge my pores. How does this do with acne?

I have acne prone skin but am in my early 40's so my skin is changing. I was also worried about how this cream would react to my skin. I have to say, I LOVE IT!! My skin is soft and at the end of the day non-greasy. It balances my combination skin so that I can wear it during the day. I have used L'Occitane Very precious eye cream and now I am using this skin cream. I really am hooked on this product. Go to a Sephora store and get a sample, it is worth the research.

My skin isn't super sensitive, but this burned my face within seconds when I put it on and skin has gone red and angry. Not sure which ingredient has done that, though.

VERY Precious has more anti-aging ingredients -- it fights skin disorganization, wrinkles, loss of firmness, loss of radiance and pigmentation marks. Also, it's meant to be a night cream treatment, whereas the Precious is a day cream. Check out the L'Occitane website as they show the entire ingredient deck so you can see exactly what active ingredients are in each product. I use them both and absolutely love them!

The Immortelle Very Precious cream is a night treatment while the other one can be used for day and night, and it´s lighter.

Question
sensitive skin
I can break out in a rash if the product is to oily. It may even itch. I have used these products before but only on feet, knees, ankles, etc. It works great but I have to use sparingly sometimes with gloves, or socks. Have used hand cream, pure shea butter and managed because I love the product especially the lemon.

I have skin that is very sensitive to certain products, especially around my eyes, but this product doesn't affect me adversely at all. I can even get it in my eye (by accident) and have no reaction, which is rare!

I don't think it's meant to be fragrance free. I think the scent is light, but there is a scent that is more than just the plain face cream.

I find kinerase products a bit harsh. This is much nicer at least for skin that can sometimes be a bit sensitive.
