I have the Smashbox primer, as well, and what I have done is apply the Blur, let it set for 1 minute, apply my foundation, and then dab a little of the Smashbox primer just under my eyes before I put on my under-eye concealer. I know some ladies prefer to put concealer on first, but I use a liquid foundation and have found that the Smashbox primer over the foundation creates a perfectly smooth canvas for me to carefully brush on my concealer. If you use a mineral/powder foundation, I'm not sure how it would wear. But the Lancôme Blur is awesome and is far better at smoothing out your complexion that Primer alone.

I haven't used it with another primer. It is a primer with skincare benefits, so I don't think it is necessary.

I found this product to not live up to its claims at all. I would not consider layering it with the Smashbox. I think the two together would be too thick and too gummy. Consider Clarins Beauty Flash Balm instead.
