Questions & Answers for SEPHORA COLLECTION Moonshadow Baked Palette - In The Tropics

Question
Do these eye shadows last long? Can we use it for smokey eyes?

I use a primer with my eye shadows, including this one, so it really did last long. I would recommend the Urban Decay primer potion. I also used it for a smokey eye. The palette is a little limited for a smokey eye, but if it has the colors you want to use, you can make it work.

yes they stayed from when I put it on at 4 am till 6 in the afternoon when I physically took it off but it still looked perfect. The colors blend well together so I think it would make a lovely smokey eye.

These last all throughout my work day of about 10 hours and they are great for a smokey eye! The dark purple especially "Grenada"...I use it along with the lighter "Barbados"pinkish color for a great smokey eye for brown/hazel eyes.

These shadows are all pretty shimmery. All of the colors except the lighter purples have micro glitter in them. But, when applied dry these shadows can be blended out to be pretty soft/subtle. But this makes the colors pretty sheer and light.

Yes, these are shimmery eye shadows. (and I wet apply them to get even more shimmer out of them.)

So you may want to opt for a matte grouping.

I have this palette. Yes, the colors are a bit shimmery....but I find that, when applied dry, the effect is not overwhelming. It produces more of an understated sheen. Now, if you use a wet application technique, you will get far more shimmer. Hope this helps. :-)

They definately do when you swatch them but on your eyes you don't really see the actual shimmer as much when its on your eyes

The size of the palette is about equal to that of the Naked Palette, however, the pots themselves are definitely bigger.

It's about a third smaller in length but a little bit thicker than the first Naked palette. Also, unlike the Naked, this doesn't come with a brush.

yeah all the shades do have quite a bit of glitter! Especially the lighter ones. In fact, if you just apply the lighter shades like the white (St-Vincent) and light purple (Fiji) pretty much only go on as glitter when you apply just once. To get more colour, you have to add a little bit more. These colours are so pretty and if you love glitter I DEFINITELY suggest you buy it!!

This pallet is very shimmery, all of the colors have micro-glitter except the two lighter purples. All of the colors apply wet and go on as they appear in the pan.

I use the the lighter colors on my lips, and add lipgloss. I just apply the shadow with my finger over the lipgloss, right in the center of my lips, by tapping it on lightly. It gives a nice amount of sparkle to the lips.

You can use a regular eye shadow brush. Wet it a little if you want the color to go on highly pigmented and intense (or over a primer). I also sometimes gently use the pad of my finger.

I like to use a medium "filbert" or oval brush. It is thin, when looking at it from the side, and from the front view, it has a curved end. In other words, it is just like a flat brush with a rounded end. My personal size to use is a number 6, or about 3/8" across. Some people like a larger oval, and some even use a fan brush. But you can't go wrong with an oval.

Question
Titanium Dioxide/Ingredients?
Is there titanium dioxide in this palette? Let me know if it is a main ingredient or in the "may contain" section.

Also I think you have to peel back the main sticker on the back of the palette to see the ingredients.
