I've noticed that in most reviews shade colors were not given. That could be a big help.

Tea Time is very pinkish, and Champagne Lunch is more neutral. I like both, but find Champagne Lunch to be more natural looking.

Tea time would be a great color. Its natural looking. Somewhat of a nudeish pink. Perfect for brown hair. Adds some color without looking like you tried too hard.

I definitely do not find it moisturising or healing enough to use in place of a "chapstick"! I only use it when I want some colour, and use my lip balms -- such as Rachael Perry -- when I want to look after my lips in comfort, such as at night time, or when I'm just kicking around at home.

Not for me, it dries my lips out unless I alternate it with something like caudalie's lip balm, however if I do that it's great and leaves a balm-like finish. A good 2 in 1 is korres' lip butters, they last almost as long and leave my lips in fantastic condition, I hate sticking my fingers in a pot, but ever since I got Cargo's little portable covered lip brush the pots don't bother me a bit

The color I chose was terrible-Summer Fling. It is a whitish pink, waxy looking lip product,. I wouldnt reccomend it.

I love wednesday, it's a little redish-brown but very natural and I think would match your skin perfectly. champagne brunch is nude, but a little too tan (for me anyway), it kind of washes out my face

The Champagne Brunch is a sheer nude. I am a pale redhead and it is not my favorite, but I think someone with darker skin would like it more. I personally like the Thursday more, but it is more pinkish.

this tarte lip sheer (saturday) could work. it can go on light or dark depending on how much you apply. i have brown hair and pretty fair skin for a latina and i absolutely love this shade. i recommend testing it in the store though just in case, you know?

Try the shade "Monday". It's more of a sheer rosy red as opposed to that bold fire engine colour.

I'm pretty sure it's Monday. I was in the store looking at the samples yesterday and Monday was a much brighter red than the picture in the color chart here shows, though that may be how it looks on the lips. Monday was by far the brightest sheer red of the bunch. - Hope this helps!

I am an Indian Asian Gal who is trying to find a perfect nude shade of Tarte. I have dark black hair with black eyes and my skin tone is rich brown with an olive undertone( i use the laura mercier Almond (rich brown/ for medium skin tones). i don't want a color that ends up weird pinkish or orangish which happens to me most time.

I just got Thursday (color) and think it's a nice tint without looking bright and clown-like. You sound like you're slightly darker complected, but I think this would work well for you too.

I was at a Sephora location looking at these Tarte lip sticks and saw a shade called Sunday but they were all out of it, so I went online but it isn't even shown here. Did they discontinue it or what happened?

Unfortunately, the shade in Sunday has been discontinued from our website. I suggest trying the shade Summer Fling, a new comparable shade which we now offer.

If you want to go with something more bold, I'd go with the teatime. I think that the deeper reds would be too bold, but that's just my opinon. If you're going for a natural look then go for the wednesday. It's a little bold, but it's still wonderful. I have the friday and this is okay, you should try it out. It's great for just any look from the mall to parties.
