As soon as you start cleaning your face, you can start using. My 12 year old niece plays lots of sports and was getting very congested pores. Perfect candidate for one of these! Now she is keeping it clear and learning to take care of her skin.

It appears the MiaFirst only comes with the Mia, pLink charger, and sensitive brush head but the Mia comes with Mia, international pLink charger, sensitive brush head, and gel cleanser. So Mia seems like a better option than MiaFirst, if they're otherwise identical.

The Clarisonic MiaFirst comes with one speed setting. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend looking into the Mia 2, Aria, or Clarisonic Plus which have adjustable speed settings and durations.

I keep mine in the shower so I have no excuses for not using. Have never had an issue with it. I make sure to clean in running water to make sure all traces of cleanser are gone in between uses

Yes! This product can be used in the shower, however we do not recommend fully submerging it (like in a bath filled with water).

Question
How to use with cleanser
I am interested in this product, but who is it targeted for? Also how to do use it? Do you apply cleanser to the brush or your face? Excited it's on sale for $99!

I don't think there is a "right" way, see what works best for you, but if you must ask, I put the cleanser all over my face to evenly distribute it out and then i will use this.

Per the instructions in the box:

It's results include "reduced appearance of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles, and improved skin tone."

"- Wet your skin and the brush head with warm water
- Liberally apply cleanser to your skin or to the brush head"

Now, for my input! I put it on the brush because it's a preference. Just the way I started doing it. Plus I feel I use less cleanser that way.

I'm 25, the epitome of combination skin, and suffer from ache right on my neckline. It helps keep my ache at bay and keep my skin silky smooth!! (without using a funky heavy moisturizer)

Seems it's targeted to everyone for one reason or another I guess.

Hope this helped!

Question
Clarisonic Comparisons between models
Can anyone provide a link or url to compare all the different models against each other. There are so many now, it's too hard to ascertain the benefits or pitfalls of one versus another. I think it's gotten too confusing, so I'm therefore hesitant to purchase any. When I talk with the sales people, they really can't rattle off the differences without giving up stating one speed, multiple speeds, but that's all well and good, what are the benefits or not is what I'm wondering

When it needs charging, it kind of pulsates and stops. I charge it overnight and it is good to go in am. Lasts a long time between charging

Yes I use it in the shower. Cord is not needed, only used for charging. The devise is sealed so it can handle the shower. I would suggest not submerging it in water though.
