Formula X The Twenty-Two

What it is: A stunning, 22-piece collection of mini nail lacquers in an array of classic creams, bright neons, cool chromes, and splatter-effect top coats. What it does: This is the ultimate collection for nail connoisseurs. Creams provide ultralong wear and incredible saturated color in just one swipe. Neons are mega bright and dry down to a matte finish. Chromes glide on creamy and dry to a smooth, reflective finish. Xplosive top coats create the ultimate splatter effect with a matte confetti glitter that can be worn alone or over any nail color. This set contains:- 0.13 oz x 22 Nail Polishes in Racy (metallic lavender), Rocket Fuel (metallic graphite gray green), Vroom (metallic rose gold), Wham! (white confetti), Infatuated (opaque powder blue), Unmistakable (opaque light jade), Brazen (opaque light pink), Indelible (opaque violet), Thrilling (opaque heather grey), Turbulent (light turquoise and black confetti), Radioactive (electric bright green), Zap (electric limoncello), Haphazard (electric purple), Eureka (opaque hot pink), Omni (opaque beach ball blue), Bionic (light lime green and black confetti), Dark Matter (opaque patent leather black), Extraordinary (opaque blue grey), Flashy (opaque classic red), Need For Speed (metallic silver), White Matter (opaque bright white), Meteoric (black and white confetti with rainbow micro sparkles).

You need a top coat...maybe a base coat too. The polish wears and chips very easily!

answer 3
The set itself only contains colored polish. If you want the full set Sephora sells a box with nail cleaner, base coat, a color of your choice, and top coat for about 32 dollars

You might want to buy the base and top coat, it is not included in the set. The Formula X system uses the a cleanser first that you brush on before the base coat, you might also want to buy that.

You just need a top and base coat unless you want to purchased the Formula X system but it really isn't needed. The set includes polishes and glitter topcoats and while they last long they'll last longer with a real base and top coat!

You can use these without the top and base coats but they do last even longer if you purchase the base and top coats.

Have you been using the whole system? I've got long natural nails that are prone to chipping and I've had good results with these polishes so long as I do all the steps. If you have been using the system, try using a nail strengthener because the reason for the cracks is that your nails are bending. I used to have the same issue till I started using a strengthener. I use OPI nail envy :)

As quoted from their websites regarding different finishes of polishes in their Sephora Formula X line....
"What else you need to know:
This polish is a three-free formula. The brush design was engineered to complement the highly pigmented formula, giving you the most even and precise lacquer application."

Hope this helps!
