Questions & Answers for Too Faced A Few of My Favorite Things

Question
Size?
Is this travel sized or is it a larger palette that you would leave at home?

answer 1
I'd call it travel size, no because of the size, but because it isn't bulky, like the Naked Palettes. It's have the size of a standard folder, and it's as thick as a standard folder. It can easily fit in a medium sized bag, or even a folder.

I would say it's not too large that you'd have to leave it at home, but it is travel safe... As in not too bulky. It's about the size of a normal sized writers journal. And not thick at all

It's a larger palette, but it's thin and includes a great bag with room for extras for traveling. Great purchase! Did not like lip product though.

It's larger. Actually, I think the picture is misleading. It's very large. BUT... the bag it comes in is a great travel bag!

Its very large. Too large to be travel sized in a little makeup bag. It is convenient, though, because everything is in one makeup set.

This Palette is quite large. While it packs a lot for it's punch and you can create a ton of looks, I don't think I would take it with me for travel, unless I was going to be gone for a week or more. The packaging is thin and compact, but it's just quite long and wide to accomodate for all of the eyeshadows. This is my favorite palette that I own, but I usually just grab my naked basics palette for travel. :D

This palette is roughly the size of a iPAD. Although I don't think I would travel with mine for fear that it may become damaged, it doesn't take up much space and would fit nicely in a large handbag. (It also comes with a makeup bag which it fits perfectly in.)

I'd say that depends. It's a rather large palette, but it's not terribly thick. Possibly a bit large or bulky for travel.

answer 9
It is travel size in the sense that it is very flat and thin. However, it is a rather wide and long product in general. I think it'd be fine to travel with, but only if you have the space. If you're looking for something super compact, this isn't it.

The palette is really slim in width, but takes up more table space than the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette for example (that palette is already pretty big). You could travel with it if you stored it like a book. It also comes with a slim makeup bag, I believe, so you could travel with it in that if you wanted. I'm looking into purchasing it and I would definitely travel with it when going on trips for more than a couple days.

This palette is quite large, but it is "thin" and compact. I feel like you could definitely travel with it, but it's not something you could stick in a standard size makeup bag.

Question
Color Payoff
What is the color payoff for the "Evergreen" color like? Is it really pigmented? I am trying to pick between this and the Lorac pro palette, which doesn't have a green. I am leaning towards this one since it has a lot more colors and comes with blushes ect. and the fact that it's limited editon.

I have both palettes, I'd say go with the Too faced one. I use it a lot more. But I do like both palettes. Evergreen is nice, but I feel like the standouts in this set is the blush and the light shimmery shades. They are very nice. Hope this helps.

It's a really pretty evergreen color. Not a bright holly green but more subtle and dramatic.

The green is nice but you have to layer it three times to get it the same color on the palette. It is a great palette overall and I would recommend this.

The color payoff of Evergreen is good when you apply it with a foam eyeshadow brush. I have the Lorac Pro Palette also and if i had to choose between "A few of my favorite things" or "Lorac Pro Palette" i would go with Lorac, Its more versatile and not as bulky. I know the pigmentation with the Lorac colors doesnt compare to the work your going to have to put into with learning to figure out how to apply the colors in the Too Faced palette. Good Luck

I wasn't happy with EverGreen. It came out more blackish toned and muddy with hints of green. If you're aiming to get the green, I'd go for Lorac or Kat Von D.

The green you see is the green you get. It's a great forestry green shade. I am a fan of greens and love it. Between the two palettes, I would choose this one hands down- more bang for your buck....product weight and color payoff....

Only five shades are matte. The rest have some type of sheen shimmer or glitter to them. There is one light highlighter type shade, two soft medium brown crease type shades, one matte purple and a dark chocolate matte.

answer 6
The matte colors in this pallets are:
Chocolate milk-a light chocolate matte
Dark chocolate- looks like the name :)
Cream colored ponies- a light off white, great for under the brow, base color, and inner eye corner highlight
Taffy- a baby pink
Woolen mittens- a pretty brown in between the chocolate milk and dark chocolate in color
Ooh la orchid- pretty purple
Blue satin sashes- navy blue matte with SPARKLES, so not a full matte but it is very pretty.
You can find a lot of swatch samples on YouTube

Not many, I would say 3 or 4. It is a great palette for someone who likes a little shimmer to their look but definitely not the best for a matte look.
