Questions & Answers for NuFACE Trinity Facial Toning Device

Question
will this device work without the gel primer?
The ingredients in row gel primer are scary? Acrylic polymer? Thats like a combination of glue and nail polish! Will the device do anything for you without that? I don't want to waste my money, because if I buy it I won't be using the stuff that comes with it. Please be truthful, because if it needs it, it needs it. Returns are such a hassle . Thanks

You have to use it with some kind of primer that helps with conductivity. Aloe vera works wonderfully, or you can use any brand of serum.

Many people complain that the gel dries up too quickly. So I suggest working on half your face first, then the other, or you can spray tonic water on your face if gel dries up.

the primer helps it glide along smoothly...it feels like it is pinching the skin and almost like that feeling when your leg falls asleep without the primer.

Question
Is this an electrical stimulator (does it zap), or is it like an ultra sound (like what's used for joint pain)?

answer 1
It's like an electrical stimulation because it does burn if you don't use the gel.

answer 2
it is a combo of both...as long as you use the gel with it you don't feel a thing and it glides over the face nicely. but without the gel it feels kind of prickly

I am currently using the Quasar MD Plus, but not seeing the lifting results I'd like. Would it be okay to use the Trinity Facial Toning Device also?

You are safe to use both - I have a ReVive light therapy unit and the NuFace itself has an optional light therapy head, so they work just fine together. It's two different technology modes, so there's no risk of 'overdoing' anything.

Well, NuFACE has a red LED product too, the Wrinkle Reducer, and the FAQs on their site say that you can use them together, so I would guess so??

Question
Should I use toner before the gel primer?
I'm using FRESH Rose Floral Toner (sometims CAUDALIE Beauty Elixir) everyday after I wash my face and before I use my serums. I wonder if I use this toning device, should I still use toner before I use the gel primer? Thx.

My aesthetician says to use this as the last step before moisturizer, so I always tone first.

answer 2
Your face should be cleaned prior to use, but I don't see any point in using toner before the gel. The gel has to be washed off after using the device. I don't like dragging a washcloth across my face, so, after blotting gently with a damp washcloth, I wash my face then apply my usual skin care routine. I know that some people apply serums before using the device because they say it drives the products into the skin. I think it's a waste of product when you're going to clean your face after using it. Just my opinion.

It doesn't vibrate, what it does is that it will send is some tiny electrical currents, which is why you need to use the gel, otherwise, it will burn your skin.

answer 2
No, it's not going to vibrate - it's an electrical current output, not a Clarisonic that pulses.

I think you need to be careful on your neck. If your skin is very thin, you can inadvertently damage your thyroid gland. This is something that's happened before to other people, and Nuface does not recommend you use it on your neck anymore. Dermarolling may help, and would be harmless if done correctly. Also, a little bit of Retin-A could help neck Crepiness too
