Questions & Answers for Phyto Secret de Nuit Intense Hydration Regenerating Night Cream

Question
Can you wash your hair the morning after using this?
I tend to wash my hair in the morning. Will it be as effective if I do this or does it need to stay on?

All you need to do is rinse out completely. No need to shampoo.

It was very effective for me applied to dry/ dirty hair and washed out in the morning, since my hair is short and fine. If your hair is curly, thick, porous etc you'll probably want to leave it in/ not wash it out.

Leaving it overnight gives it lots of time, that's totally fine. Conversely, I don't always wash my hair in the morning and I don't find that there's any interference with morning styling.

Question
How do I use this if I wash my hair in the A.M.?
Is this product only for people who wash their hair in the evening? The instructions seem at odds with the name. Can I put this on dry hair at night and then rinse out when I shampoo/condition in the morning or should I use this as a leave-in after washing (so during the day, not at night)? Confused.

I actually preferred to wash it out after leaving it on for the night. For whatever reason, this stuff made my hair super dirty feeling/looking in the morning. It seems to work great for some, but unfortunately I was not one of those people. Probably it's just down to hair type. My hair definitely felt softer after washing it it out in the morning, but I don't know if the price would justify it as a rinse out overnight hair mask. If possible, I would go to a Sephora store and get a sample so that you could try it out.

My hair is short and fine and I applied on dirty hair, and then washed out this morning. It worked perfectly for me. For a thicker/ curly or textured hair type it would probably be best to leave in, which would mean you'd want to skip washing it the next morning.

I put it in even if I'm planning to wash in the morning. It's not really a post-wash product.

I use it as needed, when my hair is too dry or frizzy. I end up using it most nights unless I know I am showering in the morning. When I wake up I usually need to style very minimally (just shake my curls/waves) but no more products needed. So it works like that.. But they actually advertise the long-term benefits as a result of daily use.

The description on the box says: Repeat two or three times depending on the hair's porosity.

I do it 3x a week and love my hair in the morning! I also wash it every other day...

Hi melissardh, we recommend using this treatment up to three times per week depending on your hair type and considering your hair's porosity. Some clients do use this product nightly. The frequency with which you want to use this product will depend on your hair and how often you plan on shampooing.

Question
Identify Scent?
These reviews seem split on the scent of this product but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Does anyone know what that smell is or any other products with it? I recognize it from the past but can't place it, if you know what I mean... Thx!
