It is synthetic and it is awesome! I love it and cannot recommend strongly enough. It is the perfect amount of flexible and strong and small enough to get perfect application.

In my opinion, this is better than the 216. But I really didn't like the 216 at all. I still have it, but don't use it often at all. The small precision crease brush is one of my absolute favorites and unique to MUFE, I think. I say get it.

Perhaps, depending on what you are looking for. I always had trouble getting precise application with a dome-shaped crease blender, but this brush lets me put colour exactly where I want it, without ending up all muddy and messy. I still use a separate dome-shaped blender when I want a very blended look, whereas this lets me get more precise lines.
