Questions & Answers for Smashbox Photo Matte Anti-Shine Primer

Yes! I will say that it does not dry out my skin QUITE as much as the old one, but it does the trick. I'd say it lasts 6-8 hours before you need to repowder. The best way to know is to try it out and compare :) I did find it to be just as good. The cream itself is not as wet, but it dries out just as much!

Hope this helps!

Yes!! I have very dry skin with an oily T-zone and I absolutely LOVE this product. Leaves an air-brushed, matte finish without drying skin.

answer 2
apply it on your oily areas only and it works well. i wouldn't apply it on dry areas. i don't usually apply this over my entire face, just the oily areas. if you want an all over primer this might not be the best choice because there's not a lot of product specifically because you're supposed to use a little. the packaging for the tip is very small too. a little goes a long way. hope this helps!

Question
Is this primer better than using the smash box photo finish primer?
I want to know if this primer truly minimizes the appearance of pores and oil compared to the photo finish primer.

I used the green primer for blemish and oil control and it didn't work for me. This is really good but I would only use it in targeted areas after applying foundation, not as a primer.

Yes, this is completely different than the photo-finish primer. This one has a nude colored, velvety-powdery consistency that leaves a perfectly matte, airbrushed-like quality to your skin. I notice significantly less oil throughout the day, and this is the first primer I've ever used that actually seems to minimize pore size. Give it a whirl....I don't think you'll be disappointed!
