Almost every cosmetic ingredient has been tested on animals cruelly and extensively - so if you are really asking "in any way," then yes animal testing has occurred.
I don't know what Ardency Inn's policy is on testing FINISHED products on animals.
However, almost all cosmetic ingredients included in modern products are [have been] tested on animals during research and development, and before they are approved by the FDA. So that's the legacy of these chemicals, and there's no avoiding it.
Many companies don't test their finished products on animals (and they don't need to because the individual components have already been tested in this way). Or, they have an independent lab conduct testing so they can say THEIR company does not test on animals.
Just a few things to watch for as you research the policies of any one cosmetic company.
