Questions & Answers for Lancôme DreamTone Ultimate Dark Spot Corrector

Question
Can you wear this without makeup?
Does this treatment actually allow you to "date to go bare", like in the ad? Does it make your skin glowing enough and cover and treat dark spots while making you "glow" that you could wear this and no makeup? I have nice skin and am looking for something to help the dark spots on my forehead, and get rid of some redness on my cheeks.

I totally believe you could with this product. I think you'll have to use it for awhile so you can fade the dark spots, but after that I think so! I had a deluxe sample of it and I found it did make my skin look really nice before I put any makeup on. Good luck!

The tone really depends on what kind of hyper pigmentation you want to help diminish - I would speak to a rep that is familiar with how the product was developed and intended for use. I am fair and thought tone one is what I would obviously need, but based on my need the Lancome Rep I spoke with for my first purchase really recommended tone two (medium).

I would suggest you to go for medium (type 2). Because the darker your skin, the higher the pigmentation in your skin. A dark spot will have extra concentrated pigment on the area of dark spot. So, using a Type 2 (medium) for your skin will definitely work better compared to Type 1(light). I would say Type 2 will have higher curing/correcting tendency than Type 1. I have the same problem as yours, too. I am between dark and medium. I tried sample of Type 1 from Lancome gift. It worked a little but Type 3 is working much more effectively, for me.

I really suggest seeing a Lancome Rep before your purchase to make sure you look into getting the right tone for your needs and they or Sephora I believe might be able to give you a sample.

Yes you can use both at the same time. Though that would be very moisturizing...... I wouldnt do it unless you have SERIOUSLY dry skin.

I doubt they would cover freckles since freckle are genetically there from birth. But, this certainly fades dark spot caused by aging, acnes and etc. Freckles are naturally beautiful!

Give it a shot. This product really works wonders so I personally think you should try it. Perhaps get a sample from your local Sephora or department store first. A little goes a long way.

I would recommend you to pick Type 3, I had the same problem. I picked type 3 which worked way much batter than others. Or simply try getting some sample pods from a Sephora store.

I would recommend Dark Skin Tone: According to Lancôme's website, their is a scroll color guide, which suggests Medium is for Olive Tones and not woman of Color.... I am Tan Skinned (Asian and Black with freckles)and went with Dark myself... Visibly reduces the appearance, dark spots, uneven skin tone and color imperfections.

I bought fair, but I have very pale skin. It blended very well with mine. So unless you are on the paler side I wouldn't get Fair. :)

I'm sure if you go and ask for a sample they will gladly give you a bit but keep in mind it takes a few weeks to really "take effect" and truly work for your skin.
