Questions & Answers for Lancôme DreamTone Ultimate Dark Spot Corrector

Question
Can you wear this without makeup?
Does this treatment actually allow you to "date to go bare", like in the ad? Does it make your skin glowing enough and cover and treat dark spots while making you "glow" that you could wear this and no makeup? I have nice skin and am looking for something to help the dark spots on my forehead, and get rid of some redness on my cheeks.

I totally believe you could with this product. I think you'll have to use it for awhile so you can fade the dark spots, but after that I think so! I had a deluxe sample of it and I found it did make my skin look really nice before I put any makeup on. Good luck!

Question
Is there a sample size that I could try?
I was wondering if there was any sample size that I could try instead of buying the full bottle. I want to see if it works on my skin before I buy the entire product.

I'm sure if you go and ask for a sample they will gladly give you a bit but keep in mind it takes a few weeks to really "take effect" and truly work for your skin.

Yes! I tried the sample size first. Now, Ive purchased them since they work for my skin. You should ask for a sample size at a Sephora store and try them.

Question
which to buy
Hi - on this product you evidently select fair, medicum or dark. What does this refer to? I have red hair and fair skin - would fair be the best for me? However, I want what is most powerful to get rid of one age spot, so would fair be the most powerful bleaching agent?
Thanks,

Definately the fair. I went to my local Macy's department store and they recommended which one to use. Just an FYI, each product does not coinside with you skin color, you should use the product more for you skin type and problem.

Fair. The "shades" are to address issues that each shade range is more likely to have.

The directions say to use twice daily and yes - it clogs pores. At least it clogged mine and caused huge break outs

I would suggest you to go for medium (type 2). Because the darker your skin, the higher the pigmentation in your skin. A dark spot will have extra concentrated pigment on the area of dark spot. So, using a Type 2 (medium) for your skin will definitely work better compared to Type 1(light). I would say Type 2 will have higher curing/correcting tendency than Type 1. I have the same problem as yours, too. I am between dark and medium. I tried sample of Type 1 from Lancome gift. It worked a little but Type 3 is working much more effectively, for me.

I'm white hispanic. Which one I should buy?
I don't have red spots, but I do have some uneven skin. I had been treating my melasma for years, since my first baby. I'm 54 years old and my browns spots are really better now. I do not know which Dream Tone Corrector I should try. I really appreciate your answer. Thank You.

I'm also Latina with olive skin and I use #2 (my skin tone is similar to Jennifer Lopez). If you have fair skin (you say you are white), then I would go with #1.

I am Asian, it's basically yellow skin, but I am pretty white, not that yellow. I bought 2-Medium skin tone without noticing. I am wondering if it is too dark for me.

Hey, I am Asian as well and I have number 2. My skin has some yellow undertones and number 2 is supposed to help with the sallowness. If you feel that your skin is pale and more red than perhaps number 1 would be better.

I doubt they would cover freckles since freckle are genetically there from birth. But, this certainly fades dark spot caused by aging, acnes and etc. Freckles are naturally beautiful!

Give it a shot. This product really works wonders so I personally think you should try it. Perhaps get a sample from your local Sephora or department store first. A little goes a long way.
