Easy to remove by using aluminum foil, cotton, and polish remover. Cut foil big enough to snuggly fit fingertip, separate a cotton ball into a thinner pad to cover your fingernail, apply the polish remover, then wrap your fingertip/nail with the foil. Of course, repeat with each nail. Let soak for 5-10 minutes, then slightly press on the foil and cotton when removing it. Some slight clean up may still be necessary. I do one hand at a time. This method works great.

Yes they are difficult to get off, just soak cotton ball in regular polish remover and let it sit on nail for a minute.

I always soak cotton balls with acetone and wrap with foil.... for glitter I let it sit for 15-20 min.... There's very little I need to scratch off.

You have to work at it in order to remove it entirely, yes, and often times the color coat comes off before the top coat, but I've never experienced any real issues regarding the removal of the speckles with acetone-free nail polish remover!

Depends how dense the glitter is. 'Glory' is pretty sparse, so it's relatively easy to remove. But if you get something with a lot of overlapping pieces that's when you're going to have trouble.

It shouldn't only work with Formula X; it's a top coat, so my only advice to you regarding any polish under it is to use a clear top coat above everything else. This should keep the speckles/glitter/whatever on your nails!

Does the Glory color actually give decent glitter payout with a single swipe, or do you have to meticulously place each star?

It absolutely does not. I just put it on and it is VERY disappointing. It's mostly blue speckles. I was hoping to wear it to the world cup but it doesn't look very patriotic at all. On all 10 nails after two coats I only managed three red stars. The narrow brush doesn't bring much glitter out. Liberty might be better?

It goes on in one coat. There is no way to "center" the stars, just enjoy the shine and the organic placement.
