Question
Has this caused any breakouts for anyone?
I notice in the ingredients, wax is listed. Does this make you breakout? Does anyone know if this product is non-comedogenic and/or non-acnegenic?
Thanks for your help.

I have not had problems with breakouts. Their website claims it doesn't clog pores and some ingredients supposedly help diminish hyper pigmentation over time.

I have oily/combination skin and chronic acne, and I had no problems using this BB cream. I did not get any additional breakouts. This product was very drying on my skin, though.

I have combination skin, slightly oily in my t-zone, but normal-dry everywhere else. This product cause my skin to break out more, and I also started to get whiteheads that I never had before with continued use of this product. Maybe it works better for oily skin, as it dries and sets itself. But it was way too thick for me and clogged my pores.

Question
How to apply?
I am used to using BB cream, which I apply with my fingers. Is it possible to apply this CC cream with your hands, or do you have to use a foundation brush?

You can use it with your fingers but you have better control over the coverage with the brush. I use my fingers to gently tap it in the under eye area and on the nose to diminish the look of pores.

I prefer to use my fingers with this product because I find that I'm able to spread and blend it better that way. Something about the warmth in your hands just makes it easier to work with. I would advice using a damp sponge afterwards to blend the product out.

I would recommend using sephora's #55 brush to apply this. I t would make the application of this product a whole lot easier because of the concistency of this product.

I will answer my own question. tried it myself in N light, and it was light enough and the color was not leaning cool or warm it was right in the middle (just the way I wanted), however the formula was super drying for my combo skin (it is winter now though).

Dermablend is made to cover tattoos. BB/CC creams are a bit thicker than a tinted moisturizer, you'll probably see the tat peaking through. Dermablend is thick so none of the tat will show through and will looks seamless with your skin.

I don't think this coverage is that heavy. I know you said you tried the Kat Von D concealer? I haven't tried the concealer but I
have her foundation and it covered a very large tattoo that i have. I used a brush and stippled it on. Hope this helped.

I'm a G60 in the cream and the G Medium/Deep is just right. It brightens and evens my skin out instantly.

Question
cc vs liquid foundation
if any of you have tried the cc and also the liquid foundation i was wondering which is better or how they differ. I've tried the cream but i dont like it that much. it doesnt cover my redness very well and its thick to put on so i feel like it tugs at my skin. maybe im just using it wrong.

I didnt really like the liquid foundation either. The coverage didnt seem that great to me. I highly recommend the CC Cream. It has amazing coverage and lasts much longer than the other products, in my opinion.

I live in a very humid climate and this product does not last eight hours for me during the summer months when my skin is especially oily. Has much better staying power in the winter when I have less oil.

If you put it on primed skin and use a setting powder it stays (for me) 10 hrs. I live in an ultra dry climate and it's the best faux foundation I've used in a long time.

If you go in to one of the stores, they'll color match you using a pantone camera. As someone who has an impossible time finding the RIGHT color, I can tell you this color-matching technology is crazy accurate.

Stick to the neutral tones - G - medium - I had thought would be too light but it goes on very well and I do not have to add color such as bronzer

Question
BB cream or CC cream?
I have oily, acne-prone skin and am looking at buying some sort of BB cream or CC cream to wear for light-medium coverage, on a daily basis. I just have a few questions!

1. I was given the colour IQ IY08 when I recently went into a Sephora store for the first time, but do not know how to match it with your shades available for each product?

2. Is powder necessary when using BB/CC creams or can they be worn by themselves?

3. Could you recommend me some good BB/CC creams? I am currently looking at Cover Fix and Hourglass products as the Sephora rep recommended these (I ended up buying a few products of each and they are working well so far!) but I am torn between the BB or CC cream!

Thank you so much!

I wear the CC cream without any powders - this one makes your skin look flawless. But I have used a blush on top.
When I'm not stressed on time, I use bare minerals so I'm used to the multidimensional look - this CC cream gives a monotone coverage.

With oily skin you will most likely need a powder to set the CC cream. I find it rubs off on my phone in a bad way. I have used Clinique's CC cream and really liked it. However I am prone to red splotches so I switched to Color FX which works very well for me in the winter. Summer has been a challenge with my oily skin.
