Clinique All About Shadow - Duo

What it is: A set of two perfectly paired eye shadow shades for creating effortless looks. What it does: One shade acts as a base color, while the other adds contour. These luscious, long-wearing colors are crease and fade resistant. If you have a dark skintone, try light shades for a more dramatic look and dark shades for a more natural style. Dark shades look more dramatic on fairer skins light ones look more natural. What else you need to know: These powder colors are ophthalmologist tested for contact lens wearers and those with sensitive eyes. The set includes a mirrored compact with illustrated instructions, plus a dual brush- and sponge-tip applicator.

Questions & Answers for Clinique All About Shadow - Duo

Question
Is Like Mink a shimmery shadow?
Is Like Mink a shimmery shadow? I find the shimmer in Jenna's Essentials to be a little much for every day use.

Oh no, I don't think so. I have the Beach plum, and it is a soft, really great, almost like a matte. They MIGHT be considered shimmer, but there is no shimmer in them really, at all. It works WONDERFUL, especially with the Clinique eye primer!

Question
Is Strawberry Fudge same as Pink Chocolate?
I recently purchased the Clinique eye-shadow quad in pink chocolate. The strawberry fudge duo looks similar, but very, very pretty. Are the shades different? Or is it just a name change, repackaging them in twos? I appreciate your opinion if you have seen both palettes. Thank you!

I think that the pink in Strawberry fudge is a bit lighter and has more gold in it. The brown shade may be a bit lighter as well but I couldn't tell a lot of difference with the way it looked on.

Question
What makes these "new"?
I noticed these are now listed as "new." What makes them new? How do I know if the Strawberry Fudge I just bought is one of the "new" duos or the old Strawberry Fudge. Clinique's website also lists all the shadows as new. Thanks!
