Questions & Answers for Dermadoctor DD Cream 15-Benefits-In-1 Dermatologically Defining BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Question
Some reviews say this product is greasy/oily. Is it safe for T-zone skin?
I have fair skin with splotches of redness. I have an oily T-Zone and am prone to breakouts around my chin. I like other Derma Doctor products, but am concerned that this one might be to thick or shiny.

Thank you very much.

I would not recommend this product for anyone with oily or combination skin. I have combo skin with a very oily t-zone (worse on my forehead and a little on my nose). It's really a lovely product but probably better suited for drier skin.

It sounds like we have similar skin type except for I am not fair skin I am medium. I bought this product and really did not care for it for my skin. It is very thick and rough going on. It also left my skin very greasy feeling. I would suggest you try miracle skin transformer. It really helped with my oily skin but did not dry it or make me breakout.

Question
Can a fair person wear this?
Self adjusting can only do so much. I'm NC15 and desperately need a lightweight broad spectrum daily cream.

I'm fair and wear this because of the benefits. It needs to be blended very well. I also sometimes use a light powder to soften the look. It depends on your skin tone

I'm fair, and not a big fan of it. I think I'm going to try Peter Thomas Roth's CC cream and see how I like that one. This one makes my skin look a bit sallow.

I apply my wrinkle revenge serum on my face, neck, and eye area. I then apply my eye cream (caudalie). Occasionally I will apply the Ain't Misbehavin' acne serum to select areas only. I then mix the DD cream with another 1/2 to full pump of the wrinkle revenge serum (the DD cream alone is too thick for me to spread easily). I don't have any pilling of the products, and it lasts all day for me. I do notice that I have to blend my neck area to avoid streaking.

"They can be used as a last step for their skincare benefits or used on their own as an instant beautifier."

I prefer to use mine after moisturizer to help the product go on smoother and further. My skin would soak it all up if I used it first so the moisturizer helps me be able to blend it and not use more than necessary.

No, I use this in addition to moisturizer. Also, using moisturizer first will help you blend the cream better so that you don't over-apply.

I have oily skin as well, so I tried this product both with and without applying moisturizer (I use Clinique moisturizing gel for oily/combo skin). Either way the product was too greasy for me. My skin was shiny within an hour. Unfortunately this is going back to the store...

You don't need sunscreen it for your daily use if you are only in the sun for minutes at a time, however - you should ALWAYS take into consideration how long you will be in the sun and reapply sunscreen regularly during exposure and if you get wet or sweaty.

answer 2
I doubt that there would be a need to wear additional sun block since the product contains a 30 SPF. If a dermatologist told you that you need a higher rating of protection than I would use another product that is rated higher to begin withr. I don't believe that using a 30 SPF with a 15 SPF gives you a combined rating of 45 SPF, for example. Consult with a dermatologist.

Hi There! I noticed you had a question about the tone of the DD Cream. I'd love to clarify a few important application steps. This product doesn't really use "color". It uses White Sapphire Complex, which enhances you natural skin tone. Don't be afraid to use it as your primer. When applied correctly, it looks great on women and men of ALL tones. Try applying a thin layer with a dome-shamed foundation brush OR the Beauty Blender, THEN adding you favorite powder. Take advantage of the Beauty Studio services, and ask you closest SEPHORA color expert to show you the best way to apply this product! Hope your questions have been answered! :)

It depends on your skin color and tone. I have medium-olive skin, but I feel this is a bad match for me, mostly because it's pinky-beige. In my opinion it seems best for fair, fair-medium Caucasian skin.

Question
yellow undertons?
It says its self adjusting for light/medium with neutral undertones. Would it work for someone with yellow undertones? i didn't know if it self adjusted to neutral undertones or it was neutral and then adjusted to your undertones depending on what you have.

I would say this is a truly neutral base. My Mom has a sallow complexion and it looks great on her skin - I run toward fair with red splotches- it really improves my complexion. Some BB's can look mask-like and are too pigmented- this gives a "'refreshed" blurred finish.
