No, you need to apply a lot to remove eye makeup. Using a eye/lip makeup remover before the cleanser is better.

EVE LOM Cleanser works well with a Clarisonic. We suggest you wet your face first when using the Cleanser with a Clarisonic (whereas the Cleanser is normally applied onto dry skin).

It's just very, very expensive mineral oil. Try the cleansing treatment by Josie Maran, which comes with the cloth.

answer 4
Yes there is always a muslin cloth included and you can buy them from Eve Lom, too. As a substitute, a man's cotton handkerchief would be good. And if your skin isn't sensitive, a washcloth would also work. (In Britain people don't use washcloths, so including a cloth with this cleanser is essential there to employ the method recommended.)

Why do you say it's free from Parabens?
The ingredients you list clearly state three parabens. Why do you state on the first initial page that it is free from parabens? Does this product contain parabens, or did you get the ingredients wrong?

Is this good for getting rid of blackheads?
Will this help get rid of my blackheads / help over production of sebum?

answer 1
Yes - I found it helped my acne/blackheads greatly! I use it twice a week as a deep cleanse and it has really balanced my skin out. However I'd suggest a pre-cleanse to take off any makeup, etc before using (then the ingredients can really get deep down into your skin) and then really taking at least 5 min to massage the product into your skin.

I first tried this product as part of the travel kit and that tiny size lasted me forever. I can't see why it would go bad even after a long time. I just now bought the largest size simply because it's such a better value and this is a really expensive cleanser! I don't anticipate a problem but I'll have to wait and see.

Question
Mineral oil is the 1st ingredient, isn't this a bad thing?
I have heard story after story for years about how bad mineral oil is for your skin.... And am surprised that that is the first ingredient in this highly rated, super expensive product. I have been avoiding it for years but have heard so many good things about this, Is there something I am missing?

Question
care for cloth?
The company says you should launder the cloth every 2 uses, but that doesn't seem realistic. For users of this, what is your current routine for usage, cleaning, drying, etc? Thanks!

I found it was much more convenient to purchase an additional cloth, this way I can use one for a few days then when it's dirty I just toss it in the wash with my other whites (dryer as well) and already have a second cleansing cloth ready to go!
When I bought my first container of this I purchased the smaller one (in case I didn't like it) and it came with a small cleansing cloth. When it came to repurchase I sprang for the large container and was surprised that the cloth that is included with that one is double the size of the one included with the smaller container. I think one could probably cut the larger one in half if they wanted to make two cleansing cloths. (Although I would recommend sewing the cut side to prevent the ends from fraying.)
