Yes you can and your fingers will probably give you better coverage due to the warmth of the skin and getting into all the places a brush cannot. It can also spread bacteria if you are acne-prone or have an eruption.

Absolutely! Your hands or a brush work fine :). We would recommend the Good Karma brush!

Question
Do you need to apply a pressed powder after applying this foundation?
I am currently using the Lock-It Foundation by Kat Von D and you do not need have to apply a pressed powder after applying the foundation. Looking to change to a lighter feeling foundation.

This definitely is a lighter feeling foundation, I apply it with the beauty blender, it covers well and feels like I have nothing on! (I've never felt this way about a foundation). It goes on matte on combo skin so I don't feel the need to apply powder over it.

Only if you need to. I found that this foundation did not make me particularly oily and I have combination skin.

To prolong the wear of this foundation, we recommend applying a setting powder on top.

Will this be available for all Naked Skin shades soon? I assume since it says customizable it would be an option for all the shades.

I recommend going into the store and getting it. The store near me had the neat little package. Then you get to choose your color. But I recommend calling first to see if they have it. If not call and ask if you buy it online if you can exchange it at the store.

I saw this package online (obviously) and I went to the store to make sure I would get the correct color and they had the packages there too in the store. So you were able to pick any color you want, which is obviously a bigger variety. So if you're too dark or light I would just go in the store and buy it. But call first to see if they have it, so you won't waste gas :)

I wouldn't say this is illuminating. The finish is satin, I believe: not matte but not flat either. I don't see any pearl or shimmer particles in this.

I have very huge pores on my nose and cheeks. The balm and the foundation actually blurred everything which not many products have done for me. They did not settle into my pores either. I haven't used the spray yet.

I tend to get super oily in my T-Zone throughout the day usually, but I have not had a problem with the UD Naked Skin complexion set. In fact, it's helped me stay fairly matte all day, and doesn't leave my skin oily when I take it off at the end of the day.

Question
Coverage?
I tried a sample of the Naked Skin Foundation (in shade 4) and it was the perfect color for me. However, I found that the foundation did not provide enough coverage for me and if I tried to build it up, it turned cakey. I am intrigued by this set, and wondering if the addition of the bb cream would noticeably increase the coverage? I was also wondering what the color of the bb cream is compared to the #4 foundation shade (lighter/darker and more/less yellow)?

I've found that the BB cream does help a good bit with coverage for this foundation. As far as being lighter than the #4 I'd say yes, I got the 3.0 and it is about the same color.

answer 2
Yes, the bb cream did help with the coverage. I only had to use 2 pumps of the foundation for my entire face. I was actually surprised with the coverage; having some ance, I barely had to use much concealer afterwards. It covered my red pimples pretty well. Also the bb cream is a universal shade-it blended into the skin well and it does help blur imperfections as it claims.

Question
What Color is the BB Cream in the kit?
I just bought the UD Complexion Kit, and think it's really great. I'd like to buy the full size of the BB cream, but I don't know what color it is. I bought the 3.5 in the Naked Skin. What color is the BB cream?

answer 2
The BB cream is universal - applies to all colors. The 3.5 (I use that same one) is just for the foundation itself. In fact, when you purchase the entire kit (which for only $10 more than the foundation alone is so worth it), all that they do is put the correct foundation color into a box that already contains the other two products (BB cream and spray). In the stores, they have those two products in the box on the shelf. When you tell them what color foundation you need, that is when they put the correct color into the box.

I'm not an expert, but I would stick with whatever your natural skin undertone color is when picking the pale shade of foundation.

answer 2
In general, your foundation should always be matched to your skin tone, so that there is no "tide mark" at your neck. So in your case, you would want to choose an area of your skin without redness to use as your colour match. It is better to match against the neck than the cheek in such cases, if you are in the store and can try swabs of colour.
