Questions & Answers for Marc Jacobs Fragrances Honey Rollerball

Honey or Dot? Or something else?
I'm looking for a perfume that doesn't smell too sweet or too strong. Sometimes the smell of too-strong perfume makes me nauseous. I just want a perfume that smells lovely and not choking. Would dot be a better choice? Or would honey? Or should I try a different perfume? What do you guys think?

Honey is a great choice for people who get headaches with strong scents. I am that way, but this one doesn't bother me at all. I have not tried Dot, so I don't know how the two compare, but I would definitely recommend Honey.

This one has just enough sweetness, it's almost like an after smell. I've been wearing it on the daily for about 2-3 weeks now and keep getting compliments on it.

answer 3
Definitely Honey, Dot has a very strong smell to it--floral and sweet. Honey is subtle and very warming and definitely not headache inducing like its sister.

I would go to your nearset Sephora and ask them for a sample. They'll give you a little vile to try out and you can see how it smells for a few days before making a decision.

I think Honey is very sweet & neither it or Dot are particularly original. All of MJ's scents smell about the same to me. I was disappointed in both... :(
(I am also over 50, if that matters...)
