Can I use this in addition to prescription Retin-A

I would advise against did this and it was overkill. Frankly I think the retin-a alone was probably causing the flaking but this def made my skin a bit more sensitive.

answer 2
Yes, I believe so. This one is so gentle it would probably help relieve any irritation you might be having from the Rx. It really makes your skin so soft and smooth.

answer 3
You can because the vitamin A in this product is plant based. The great thing about this product is that it doesn't make you photo sensitive and your skin will not peel. its safe to use am and pm.

Did this make anyone else's skin flake a lot? If so, does that go away after continued use?

Flakiness (from the little research I've done) occurs when your skin isn't used to retinoids and it isn't entirely uncommon or unnatural. So just go easy on using the product for a while. Maybe try once a day or every other day until it gets more comfortable with the cream?

Yep! I had major flaking. I don't know if it goes away because I returned the product after a few uses.

My skin has not flaked at all after using at least half a bottle. I am 65 and had lots of sun exposure some time ago, and my skin is on the dry side. As I said, no flakiness with that history!

Question
Ok to use with the Ren Glyco Lactic Mask?
I'm confused...just bought this & liking it so far. I am wondering if it would be okay to use it with the Glyco Lactic Radiance mask on two levels. First, since this is a retinoid product, would the Glycoids in the mask cancel out the benefits of the retinoid? I know that typically, the benefits of a regular retinoid would be negated if using a glycolic acid product. And second, would using these two products together cause irritation?

Since this is a clean product line, using no chemicals and is entirely plant based, you should have no problems using the products together. I've used it that way for years and never had a problem. That said, you should be cautious using that specific mask if you have sensitive skin, as it can be very strong.

answer 2
REN's retinoid products CAN be used with glycolic. When using traditional retinol, simply use the glycolic during the AM and the retinol in the pm. By the way, REN does not use synthetic retinol, so there will not be any photosensitivity associated with this product.

Question
I am using vitamin c serum, is this product okay to use with it?
I want to make sure I don't end up red! I have rosacea and retin-a plus hydroquonine wasn't working out for me.

You can absolutely mix both. Retinol is very effective pairing with vitamin C especially when helping the skin against free radicals when used in the morning under a sunscreen. Vitamin C also helps protect retinol from oxidization as it penetrates deeper into skin thereby increasing its anti-aging benefits to your skin!! Since you're referring to the Ren Bioretinoid Cream, I would use the liquid vitamin C serum first, followed by cream, then seal it in with a sunscreen for the morning.

Fresh products use all natural ingredients and contain no harsh chemicals. It is okay to use with any product. If you are getting any redness on your skin it is more than likely from the Retinoid cream you are using.

Question
Can you use this with the REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask?
Another reviewer wrote that using an Glycol product with a Rentinoid product might negate the latter's effectiveness. Does anyone know if this is true? I like using the mask first and than this creme to sooth and rehydrate.
Thanks!
