The colors are all neutrals - greyish-greenish-taupes - light, medium and darker. Perfect for green, brown and blue eyes. Can be combined to make other colors and used wet to become more dramatic for evening wear.
I don't know why Sephora doesn't list the actual colour names (not just for this palette but for quite a few) but the names are: Boss Lady, Money Maker, Schmooze, Boardroom, Exec, Payday, Magnate and Get Ahead (clever takes on the whole "corporate power" idea). And the others are correct - the colours do look quite different than pictured but that is often the case with online pictures and swatches. This is a fabulous palette with classic colours.

The colours are a lot "cooler" toned than many of the online photos I've seen would suggest and also WAY different than they look on the sticker on the back of the palette. My favourite colour - 2nd from right on top row - is described as "bronze sheen" but to me, seeing it in real life, it's a very silvery taupe (which I love). Hope this helps.

I also found the colors to be different. I will tell you, I tried it because I am a huge fan of natural eye palettes, but even using the amazing UD eyeshadow primer these colors went muddy on me in a couple of hours. I tried different combinations for about three days and finally just returned it. Was very disappointed in this palette.
