the smell goes away after a couple of uses, and doesn't smell after it dries on your brows. I have fiber mascaras that have the same smell, so it probably has to do with the chemical make up

Mine is so much unpleasant but i can honestly say that it is a smell that most makeup does not have. I think it is just the ingredients used in the product but once dried it doesn't have the smell anymore so I'm sure it isn't much to worry about

You're right, it has an absolutely unpleasant smell. I stopped using it because of that-
I think the smell is just something a part of the product. You either get used to it or hate it so much and return it.

I am the same way, I have very dark brown eyebrows but i still use the dark shade for my brows. I would go ahead and buy the item because it never hurts to fill the brows in because it will make them look very shaped and give them the extra lift. I always fill my brows in where ever I go and I have very thick brows but with this product you don't have to put too much which is great and you can still accomplish the perfect brow. :)

Question
Does it cover gray brow hairs?
My mom has quite a few gray eyebrow hairs, but because she has sparse brows overall, she doesn't want to pluck them. She seems to be having luck with Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel in that it covers the gray well. Will Gimme Brow cover grays AND give the look of more volumized brows?

In a word, yes. It doesn't completely cover the gray hairs, but it adds enough volume that the gray blends in and the overall look is of the light brown (in my case).

I am also fair to medium skin tone with lighter brown hair... I am on my second tube of this stuff! (I use medium/dark) I have found with continuous use that the product acts like a buildable foundation. Use light strokes and follow the application tips enclosed in the packaging and you should be good! Add as much as you want until you feel it is closely matched to your natural brow color! Also: as part of my routine I brush this into my brows, filling them in extra where needed, etc. I allow the product to sit and dry while I apply mascara then use my eyebrow brush to go back and shape them. Brushing it after it dries helps the product to lighten up a bit and not be too harsh on my brows!

Question
Look Natural?
I have very fair skin. I am also a light blonde. When I use a pencil for my brows its always noticeable on me. Pencils just sit on my skin not my hair. Will this cling to just my hair or my skin? I am trying to find something that is really natural.

I too find that powder can look a little unnatural because you can see powders on the skin below your brows. I find that this product clings to your hairs and the fibers lengthen the hairs making your brows look more defined yet natural. Sometimes I do accidentally get the gel on my skin but find that it still looks more natural than powder.

answer 3
the product will sit on the hair and the skin which makes the eyebrows look filled in but at the same time natural. What I would recommend is try using a powder. With powders because they are lighter and not as heavy as pencil or liquid, you can control how much or how little you want and you can concentrate it on places you want it. powder will stick onto the hair more than onto the skin.

I always had the same problem. This is like a mascara for your brows. It actually colors your hair. For me about half my brow hairs are very light. This adds the color I need to make them all a little darker and help them to pop. I use the lighter of the two.

This is amazing I'm also fair skinned and light blonde and this isn't noticeable in a bad way. It does tint your eyebrows just a bit but it isn't like black. Choose the lighter one of course though. I've actually gotten compliments on my eyebrows since I started using it. Good luck :)

I have the same issues. i find this takes a bit of practice but doesn't sit on your skin as much as pencil does. I usually still run through my brows with a spoolie after I use this and if any has migrated to my skin clean up with a q tip. Also it took a bit of practice to realize a light hand was best.

I am a natural blond (light blond!). My skin tone is quite golden, and I have blue/green eyes. My eyebrows are literally invisible without using some type of product. I use the darker shade! I don't apply it heavily, but it is enough to define my brows. I tried the lighter shade and it was too "taupe" for me. It's all in the way you apply this product.

You should not have to pull off the rubber stopper to get to the product. It is not supposed to clump onto the brush. However, if you are not getting product onto the brush, I would think it is defective and encourage you to switch it out. You may want to double check the new one at the store.

answer 6
I didn't have to remove anything. It doesn't produce a large amount of product on the wand when you pull it out. That would defeat the purpose of providing realistic results. It's subtle but can be built up if you want a stronger brow.

Hope this helps.

I have black hair and very dark brown, almost black, brows and the darkest colour MED/DEEP is perfect. I was nervous that it may be too light at first since I have tried all the high-end brands and struggle to find dark enough colours, however I find that the dark shade creates great dark depth but still looks natural. Also, the shade is AMAZING, it definitely does not pull too warm or anything so it looks very natural next to black hair.

I also wanted to add that even though this looks super dark on screen, it's not that impactful out of the tube.

I'd say it's about 2 shades lighter than my hair, so there's no Groucho Marx look going on. It produces lovely results.

I hope it gives you the results you're seeking. If not, you can always exchange. Sephora has a great return policy. :-)

I have black/brown hair -- the darkest brown you can get before going black. I also have a very light complexion. I chose the darker of the two, and it works perfectly because you're applying this to the brow hairs, not the skin. I am in love with this product. After all these years of trying to color in my sparse brows that have fallen out due to hypothyroidism, I finally have a product that enhanced the light brow hair that's grown back and makes it fit with my very dark hair.

Hope you find this helpful. It's not an overpowering color.
