The Silk N Go website actually has a SALE on cartridges and provides free shipping in Canada and US. They are cheaper there than they were Sephora and are $40 or 3 for $90, vs Sephora where they were sold for $40 CAN.

It's a bummer I can't get free samples anymore, but it's not the end of the world!

I'm super upset! I bought a device in March ( 4 months ago) and now I can't use it!
I feel like my money was stolen! I bought something for $300 that I could use only for 4 months?

I was also upset when I found out that Sephora discontinued the original Silk'n cartridges, and that the new ones were not compatible. I just got the device 6 months ago, and for the amount of money that it cost, it is ridiculous that Sephora has stopped selling the cartridges. (Poor service to loyal customers, Sephora!) But after a quick internet search, I discovered that the major shopping sites online sell these cartridges, and for cheaper than what I was paying at Sephora. I just bought three. I guess at least for this particular item, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

This cartridge does not fit the older model of the Flash&Go. I just spoke to a VIB customer service agent who confirmed this. She advised that the only way to purchase a new cartridge is through Silk'n directly (who charges more for the cartridges according to the website). I purchased my Flash&Go from Sephora in December and am now being told there is nothing that they can do for me aside from give me the contact information for Silk'n. If I had known that they were going to stop carrying the older version I would have waited the extra couple of months for the new version. This is not the type of service I expected from Sephora (especially as a VIB).

The shape of the Freedom cartridge is rounder at the bottom, so it doesn't fit. I'm planning to buy my replacement cartridges from a department store online.

Question
Interchangeable Cartridges?
Are the refill cartridges for the regular Flash&Go and the Flash&Go Freedom interchangeable? I don't see the regular cartridges for sale here anymore...

They are not unfortunately. I contacted Silk'n and was told that the two are different shapes so the Freedom cartridge only fits the Freedom device. Wish I had known in February that they'd discontinue the original, I would've waited for the new device!

Question
Sephora, why did you stop selling FlashnGo cartridges?
Can someone from Sephora please explain to all of us VIBs (which means I buy a lot and regularly from Sephora) why you would stop carrying the replacement cartridges for an expensive tool which I invested in as a Christmas present to myself? I can understand not selling the old model, but the cartridges seem to make us go buy product from other places. Please explain. Thanks, a loyal VIB
