Question
Are there and sparkles?
I hate having those little tiny sparkles in a product I put on my face. It's just weird and tends to leave some behind after removing.

Question
Would this be a good product for someone with oily skin?
I have skin that is generally oily, but much more so if I don't use the right products. I've tried many BB creams, but gave up on them b/c all made my skin super-oily. I am now hesitant to spend a lot more money on trying different CC creams if I am going to have the same results.

I probably wouldn't. I have combination skin and this made my T-zone worse. I wrote a review on this if you want to read it under the product reviews.

I too have a very oily T-Zone. I am trying a lot of new serums at the moment but it certainly seems "less" oily than foundation or BB cream. I love this product but I have to point out it is not perfect. I didn't have to powder my nose again today after the morning but it is a little bit shiney in my T-zone. Not enough for me to worry about but you might. They have samples at the moment.

Yes, I have oily, acne prone skin and I use it without worry. It isn't heavy, and won't clog your pores.

I definitely wouldn't recommend for oily skin. I have oil skin and had to return my bottle of this because it was too oilly/ heavy for me and made my face shiny even with mineral powder on top. Try Peter Thomas Roth CC instead - I am working my way through a large sample of that one and it is much more suited to oily skin (plus it has mineral sunscreen instead of chemical sunscreen - so it's much less likely to irritate your skin). Also try Dr. Jart Detox BB - it is great for oily skin - I am on my second bottle of that.

I **do not** recommend this CC cream at all if you have oily skin, it will be more disastrous than the other BB creams!

As someone with pretty oily skin though I suggest trying the other ones with some oil-control moisturizer underneath. I find this works better for me than putting it on directly and my skin doesn't get as oily since it has some moisture on it to begin with, and it can breathe and wears a lot better through the day than if I apply full-on foundation. Just my $0.02.

light or medium?
It seems impossible to choose based on the site. I am fair skinned, but during the summer, I do have a slight tan. Can you direct me in which tone to purchase?

it blends well with your skin, so if you want to appear darker go medium, if you want to appear lighter go light. Don't think it matters as my skin does the same thing.

My skin is the same way and the light worked well for me. Sephora has a liberal return policy or you can always ask for a sample of each color next time you're in the store and see which works best for you.

I am Hispanic with olive skin and the medium shade is perfect on me, it would probably be to dark for you. What I noticed is that it blends really well so if I am tan I just put a little less and it dies the trick.

answer 7
Go with the Light, if either. I have fair skin too (and do not have a tan) and the Light was too dark for me. So with a tan it might be just right. Beware that it has a bit of a pinkish tone to it, which I didn't like since I have neutral undertones and it wound up making me look as though I had a bad fake tan.

A primer helps set your makeup and keeps it fresh throughout the day. You can use this as a base and then add more foundation on top of it but it is not a true primer.

I have mature, combo skin and I've been using this product for about a month. I love it and have not had any breakouts since using it. It's true to what it offers. My skin is brighter and it looks radiant without looking like you're wearing makeup. I also apply it with a Sephora Foundation Airbrush. The brush is worth every penny. Using it gives my skin a natural appearance and glow.

I don't know about the actual oil content, it has sunscreen and feels a bit slick like sunscreen can, and has a dewy look, but not after powder is applied. I have very sensitive skin and this has not made me break out at all. Unlike a couple of other similar products I have tried. I love it.

Question
How much to apply?
Hi, how much of this should I apply in order to get full sun protection, live in very sunny part of country and I'd like to use this for "every day" not beach protection? I normally wear sunscreen under foundation, and I'd much prefer to use just one product, but I'm concerned this won't be enough. I applied my sample liberally and I could actually "see" in on my skin outside. What to do?? Thanks.

I have found that a little goes a long way. I use 1/2 pump and then the Sephora foundation Airbrush to apply this product. I apply one layer and then if I'd like more coverage, I apply a bit more. You can also layer this with foundation. It's beautiful alone and gives your skin a natural glow. I hope this helps...

I apply just enough to cover the surface, which is about the size of a pea. That way it give sheer coverage and that should be sufficient for sun protection.

A small pea sized amount is plenty. This is not for coverage but for that tinted glow.

In my opinion, you don't need to use too much of this - even if you can still see your skin beneath the product. I still think you are getting sun protection even though it may not seem like it. It's a very light coverage product - very sheer - but I still think it is protecting your skin from the sun. This is just my opinion though and I'd ask a company rep. for a more accurate response.

I don't think there are any oils in this product. I have combination skin (oily t-zone) and this doesn't break my skin out. It also doesn't feel like there are any oils in it - but I could be wrong. It has a nice, light feel. I've tried many CC creams and this one is my favorite. I have a lot of dark spots on the left side of my face from pregnancy and sun exposure but most CC products feel sticky or heavy and turn orange on me. This is the best CC cream I've ever used and I just ordered more the other day.

This does not have zinc in it (or at least wasn't anywhere near the top of the very long list of inactive ingredients). The active ingredients are all chemical sunscreens and the top of the inactive ingredient list is titanium dioxide (after water). The ingredient list on this product page is currently only the inactive ingredients, FYI.
