Questions & Answers for Vita Liberata Tanning Mitt

Question
How big is this mitt?
What are the approximate dimensions? Basically I might want to buy it, but not if it's the same size as the mitt that came with the deluxe sample of this product that Sephora offered recently.

Thanks everyone. Yes this mitt fits perfectly and makes application extremely easy and fast. Not sure what I ever did without it. (Alot of hand washing that's for sure).

I would say the mitt is about 7" tall, 6" wide. I wear a medium in dish-washing gloves, and I find that this mitt is pretty big, but not uncomfortably so. You want to have a larger surface area than your hand to make a quick job of applying the tanner.

Approximately 7 X 5, large enough my husband and use it to put the lotion on my back.

Buy this one. The mitt than came with the sample is super tiny and hard to use. This mitt fits your hand to the wrist.

Use the mitt and apply to arms, legs etc. without dispensing more product onto the mitt carefully rub the tops of your hands and blend while the mitt is still wet with remaining product.

With this mitt you put the product directly on it and then rub it on your body so you can easily cover your hand smoothly :)

answer 3
I always apply with a dab of hand lotion or body cream mixed into the self tanner, it doesn't get quite as dark and looks more natural.

Can I use a towel instead of a mitt?

The towel will absorb too much product and waste it, also towels are not lint-free and you may be covered with lint and could change the effectiveness of the product you are using.

a mitt will give you the best, streak free tan. I would not recommend a towel.

No, I usually use a towel to rub OFF self tanner, not apply it.

Question
Would I be able to use this mitt with my serum tanner? I have one from Loreal and I feel like it would soak a lot of the product up.

it will absolutely absorb your serum. I'd go with latex free gloves.

I wouldn't use that mitt period, I got one today and it tore within the first use. It's very flimsy and hard to work with...
