I have pretty fair skin (read: lightest or second lightest foundation shades) and I got the Extra Rich (dark) shade. I really like it. I definitely wanted to look tan though. I had people tell me that I looked like I spent the day at the beach the day after I applied the tanner. However, if you don't want something as intense I'd suggest the Rich color. I feel as though the Medium shade would be a waste of money. Just note that the Extra Rich color doesn't look crazy intense or anything.

I am a blonde who likes a "golden" tan. My Sis is a brunette and likes the deep color.

I am also very fair-skinned and selected the "rich" coloration--you can control the deepness of the color by applying as little or as much as you want. It is a fabulous product that gives you a natural looking tan--get the applicator sponge as well.

If your skin gets bit dry use lotion as mousse is more drying. Tinted version helps with colour application and that is what comes off in shower. I am naturally pale and use the darkest one out there. After the colour guide washes off its a beautiful glow. Two days in row will get you nicely tan

Question
Comparison to Vita Liberata Untinted Self Tanner
Is this product only an immediate bronzer? Or does it also have the same tanning ingredients as the untinted self tanner? Just to clarify, I want to know if it has the immediate tinted bronzing but also the clear tanning ingredients that react with your skin within a few hours.

Tinted version could be used as a bronzer and the colour is natural so you could do that. Its main purpose is to be a self tanner so the tint is helpful for even application . Both versions have dihydroxyacetone which is the ingredient that reacts with your skin to give you a tan so wait at least 8 hrs, I would say ,before shower for the self tan effect

It's actually a bit of both. You do see a slight glow immateriality after an application. But it also does continue to get darker as the day progresses. Plus, you can always build the color if you want a deeper glow.

deep rich is darker than rich. I've personally noticed that I get a darker tan from the lotion than the foam. :)
