Questions & Answers for Vita Liberata Fabulous Self Tanning Gradual Lotion

Question
I am very pale, what would the best colour option be for me? I am also not sure whether to get the tinted vs the untinted. Dark hair, blue eyes.

I tried the tinted first. Even though the self-tanner color was good and lasted a long time, the tint rubbed off on everything: clothes, car seats, etc. I love the non-tinted version, though.

I have very pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. I'm of Irish decent so I don't tan, I only burn. I was a bit hesitant to order the darkest shade since I feared that it wouldn't match my skin tone but it provided a great, natural looking tan. I didn't find it to be too dark. The Vita Liberata website has a tan matcher that shows you what it will look like on your skin tone. I found that it actually was a bit lighter on me than the picture depicted but that could be because I was a little cautious when applying it. I really love this product!

Question
Do you HAVE to apply with a mitt?
I have applied the foam products with a mitt, but for a lotion, must you use a mitt if you wash your hands immediately?
I thought the whole point of a lotion was to NOT use a mitt.

Question
how does this compare to the long lasting mousse product?
I received the medium self tanning mousse with an order recently and loved the color I got from it and the fact it was very low odor. I am on day 5 and the color is only fading slightly on my legs. I do prefer a lotion and am wondering if anyone has tried both to compare?
