Blinc Eyebrow Mousse

What it is: A mousse for perfect, face-framing brows. What it does: This miracle mousse has the water-resistant color of a tint, fills in sparse areas like an enhancer, and tames brows like a gel. Once applied, blinc Eyebrow Mousse™ helps to create the perfect brow line that cannot fade, run, or smudge, even if you sweat or wear it in harsh weather conditions. Get ready for beautiful, face-framing brow color that lasts all day long, unlike traditional eyebrow products that disappear half way through your busy day. It also provides antiaging treatment to the skin beneath your brow. At the end of the day, blinc Eyebrow Mousse is easily removed, only when you are ready, with any gentle makeup remover. What else you need to know: This product is available in nine natural colors to match every hair shade.

Questions & Answers for Blinc Eyebrow Mousse

Question
Good for thin/sparse brows?
Is this product good for thin brows that are also somewhat sparse? I've been filling in my brows for years with either pencil or powder and am intrigued by this product. I know that I like their mascara... Also, my hair is a dark, ashy colour, my brows are pretty similar, would I go for the light or dark brunette?

I think this product works best when you have enough brows that just making them darker will be sufficient. My mom and I both tried it on. My brows are present and in the right shape, but thin and light colored, and it worked PERFECTLY for me. My mom's brows are extremely thin and need to be lengthened at the end to get to the right shape. Adding this mousse wasn't enough for her - she was better off with a pencil/ powder combo. So basically, think of this as mascara for your brows. If you don't have lashes (eyebrow hairs) to apply it to, it won't do much good. Hope that helps!

I did NOT find that it worked well for sparse brows. There is a little patch on one of my eyebrows where the hair is much sparser than elsewhere, which I normally easily fill in with a brush and eyebrow powder. I tried filling it with the tip of the Blinc eyebrow mousse, and it just looked like a blob of tinted skin. I wouldn't go out in public like that. But obviously this isn't the case for everyone, based on the other reviewers' comments. It could have something to do with the fact that my hair is red, my eyebrows are golden-blonde (transparent), and I bought "Auburn" shade, which turned out to be too dark for me.

YES works great to color and shape what hair you do have. I would say to use a pencil as well just to fill in the gaps.

My hair is light brown with subtle blond highlights, and I bought the light brunette. It is the perfect color for me.

I have the same issue and honestly it works really well. Not only does it coat what brows you do have but the formula also acts as sort of a brow pencil/pen. Definitely worth the price, stays on all day and looks natural. I have ash brown hair as well so I got light brown and its perfect. You can always layer a little more of you want it darker or use a light hand if you want it lighter

Question
Wand Size
My current eyebrow gel (perfekt) has a HUGE wand which makes it very difficult to apply neatly and precisely.

Does anyone know how large this wand size is?

It's pretty small. I'd say smaller than a typical mascara spoolie.

It is about the size of a regular (straight) mascara wand brush.

It's prefect for brows but I agree for eyelashes unless you use the spoon trick to cover your eye with the makeup on it and keep the spoon there to catch any mascara that you only want on your lashes. I don't use mascara on bottom lashes because it closes your eyes up, so I don't have to worry about that which is something I did in past years until reading the tip in Daily Makerover to NOT use color on bottom lashes but just use liner in color.

Seriously, you don't want black for eyebrows, it will be way too dark. Black is okay for mascara, but not eyebrows, use a dark brown, it will be more natural

No but the Dark Brunette is very dark and you never really want to use Black for your eyebrows unless your hair is pure jet black.

Question
Best color for light/med brown hair
My hair is medium brown and lightened with highlights. My brows are light brown. So I'm wondering if I should get dark blonde or light brunette. I want it to look as natural as possible so I'm wary of going too dark. Thanks!

My hair matches that description and I got light brunette. The dark blonde color looked funny on me, it made my brows look more strawberry blonde - sort of strange. I love the light brunette.

There is a shade selector image on the Blinc website & from my personal experience, they are accurate. I suggest going for the shade that corresponds to the lady your coloring resembles most. I've attached it for easy reference. Hope this helps!

Go for Light brunette!
I have really dark brown hair, and I use the light brunette. It works perfectly for me, its not too light, not too dark.
I would go for that out of the two! trust me :)

In my opinion, I'd go closer to your brow color - maybe the dark blond would work.

My mom has the same issue and I tried this product out on her. She didn't like it... it did color her grey brows, (used the Light Brunette shade) but because they are naturally so sparse it still looked the same even after using this. All it did was just tint her eyebrows so that they are all the same color but on her it did not fill in her brows enough. She still preferred using an eyebrow powder instead of this.

I would stay with the light brown. That is the only one I can tell that has the "ash" look to it which would work with gray hair.
