No, it's not at all waterproof. Melts and runs at the slightest bit of moisture.

It looks shimmery in the bottle, but it's just a bronzer when applied. It does not have a glittery look.

I would think that its safe to use on your face, but me personally, I wouldnt because of the shimmer it has in it.

This is not meant for use on the face. This meant for use on the body. You can definitely mix this with your body moisturizer, but we do not recommend using this on your face.

I used the product on other areas of my body (arms, neck, chest). The Sephora associate who sold the product to me did not suggest the face, just because it may appear darker than other areas of the body. She suggested a brush on bronzer instead. I don't see why you couldn't use a small amount on your face.
