I use both, and it works fine with either. However, I make sure my hands are clean and oil free prior to using them to apply this.

i just use this and rub my fingers on my face i feel as though a brush just takes away all of the product off my face!

I find that it is so fast absorbing, and the texture is so unique, that fingers are the best method for blending it into the skin. A damp beauty blender may also work, but make up brushes may be too soft!

Glide this primer stick directly onto skin, then immediately apply foundation, blending together on face. You can use either your fingers or brush to apply your foundation.

I actually find it works better on my peeling dry patches (from acne treatments) than places that get oily! But I prefer to rub the stick on my fingers then apply it to my face instead of applying it directly. Goes on more evenly and smoothly for me

I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin. It does not 'smooth' very well. Just kind of put it on and it sits there. It is not like a traditional primer in that way.

I have fairly normal skin that can be dry at times. I believe that is the reason I returned it. It made my foundation extra dry which I did not like. But, that was just my experience. If you do decide to purchase it, and it doesn't work out, you can always return it. Hope this helped!

answer 7
I have oily skin, so I can't "swear" it will work on dry but from what I've seen I don't see why it wouldn't. It goes on light and stays all day, with you barely noticing it. But it is a mattifyer, so I am not sure why you'd want it if you have dry skin. It keeps sweat from looking shiny all over your face, without reapplying or fakeness like powders.

Well, it doesn't really rub in very well, so you kind of just put it on. That's why I recommend only using it with liquid and not powder foundation.

I would rub it all over and try to do my foundation as quickly as possible before the primer would absorb. It works like a glue stick, you have to add the next layer before it dries.

Hey I suggest you apply the primer to a small area at a time and apply the foundation right away to that area. This way the foundation is adhering to the product. I find it works great this way!

I tap it into my skin. Sometimes you may get a bit much in one area without realizing it, so it is useful to blend it a bit.

You can do both! Either glide the primer stick directly onto skin, then immediately apply foundation, blending them together on face. Or, glide the primer stick directly onto skin, blend in with fingers or a brush, and then apply foundation.

Perfectly! Far better than any other primer. Even blush lasts all day with this. I use powder foundation and it holds it all day. I do need to blot T zone, but probably 50% less often, but don't need to add more foundation or blush.

Yes, it abosorbs quickly and you will have to work in sections. Use your fingers to blend and use a buffing brush to apply your foundation.

answer 2
The product states to apply makeup immediately after applying primer because it does dry super fast and will look like clay. However, if you smooth it on and buff it in with a Beauty Blender sponge, it looks absolutely flawless and you don't need to apply makeup as quick. As far as women of color using it, I don't see why this would matter because the primer itself is colorless. Try it and see for yourself. Sephora has a great return policy if you don't like it.

answer 5
The directions on the packaging say to apply foundation immediately. I've tried applying the primer all over AND applying the primer in sections. Honestly, I didn't see a major difference in how good it performed. But I think I preferred doing it in sections since the primer does dry fast and gets harder to blend the more you wait.

I don't think that this product compared to the Porefessional on my skin. The first day I wore it people told me I looked great and amazing, but over the next couple of days I noticed that it left my foundation blotchy around my nose area a problem that I have never have with the Porefessional

I feel this holds foundation in place better than POREfessional. However, if you liked POREfessional for the pore minimizing concept, then stick with that. While this may minimize pores to some degree, it doesn't give that poreless look that POREfessional does.
