Questions & Answers for Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Sci Fi Lullabies Lip Tar Collection

Question
Do I need the "clear" lip tar?
I got this product in the shade "Lovecraft." Do I NEED to apply the "Clear" lip tar first? Can I use any clear gloss? What is the color/consistency like if I just apply it plain without any base layer?

I don't have the clear lip tar, but a primer always is best under a lipstick or gloss or such. Lovecraft isn't as opaque as my other lip tar (Femme), even without using a primer with my other. It shows a bit darker in the tube and a bit more purple under toned than lilac (not in a bad way though). Just don't expect it to be as pepto-bismal pink as it looks online.

honestly it depends how dark you want the consistancy to be, i like mine really bright (or dark) but i hate it looking opaque, it does what any primer does it keeps it looking better for long periods of time and makes the color more vibrant.

I got the clear lip tar for "Lovecraft" , and it still seems to come out clumpy. I think you are better off using a thick clear lipgloss rather than the clear lip tar!

Pris is a pale, almost off-whitish metallic shade. Not sure how it would be on olive skin. I got it mainly to tone down some of the brighter shades I have, and add a metallic finish to them.

Annika and Zhora are both soft natural shades that will work for your coloring.
