This product is mostly intended for before makeup, so I would recommend a different sort of pore treatment for before bed. Check into some of the Dr. Brandt pore products!

It is all preference, you can. But I see it as a base primer to use under my foundation to make it stay longer and look better.

I'm sure you could use it that way but that is not how i use it. I put it on before i put my makeup on to reduce the size of my pores.

There is no reason you can't but they do make a pore correcting serum better suited to treatment, also a cream if I remember correctly.

I use after cleansing and before a tinted moisterizer. It helps keep the moisterizer in place AND it closes up my pores.

Question
Is it oil free?
Is this primer oil free? All my foundations are oil free, so to use a primer that's not... wouldn't be a good idea.

Yes, I have dry/ normal skin, more dry especially in winter and this is awesome. ESPECIALLY if you have big honking pores you would love to cover up. This is one word: magical.

Before or After SPF?
Should I use this product before or after SPF? My brain says after SPF, but I'm afraid it might change the efficacy of my SPF if I use it in that order.

I've tried the smash box pore primer and in my opinion. The smash box made my face just oily and did not hold my makeup at all. With this primer I feel that it mattifes your face and absorbs the oils while filling in your pores.

Question
Mattifying?
I've been using Dr. Brandt Pores no More pore refiner primer but am considering switching to this product for the anti-aging properties. Does this also reduce the appearance of shine/oil, as I like that aspect of the Dr. Brandt product?

Thank you!

I love both. This one is a little better at the instant smoothing look (along with great long term benefits). Dr. Brandt (may he rest in peace) is better if oily skin is your bigger problem.
