How do you remove the cover on brush?
What's the best way to remove the cover? I had the hardest time the other day and am not sure if I'm doing it correctly. Thanks for any help.

It unlatches on one side and flips up. Granted, it can fit tight but it is great for storing the brush to protect the bristles.

all I do is hold the middle of the brush and push down on the top

I opened the top and then slid the case down the handle of the brush, rather than pulling over the bristles.

Peel the plastic seal wrap off the top of the brush. Under it is a plastic
cone- like cover. There are two tabs in the side of the plastic cone.
Flip them open and the cone comes right off. I watched a Sephora
MUA do this. I keep the little cones to use when I travel. Keeps the brushes from getting squashed.

I use this brush for blending powder, contour, highlight, and blush. The short, dense angle is perfect for blending without removing.

I bought this for contouring my cheekbone area, but it would work for foundation application, or cream blush really well!

I use it for my foundation, my cream blush. You can use it for powder blush and ANY blending you desire. There is one thing that we always heard when applying make up.. BLEND BLEND BLEND, and this is the brush made for it. REMEMBER to load the brush from the short bristles- it seems to make applying easier!

Question
will the ferrule touch my face during application?
It might seem like a silly question, but the bristles are so short on this brush, I feel like the ferrule will actually be touching my face, scraping off all the makeup I just applied....are the bristles dense enough to prevent this from happening, yet still soft?

I haven't had that problem. I use it more at a 90 degree angle to shade around my cheekbones, not against the skin like a foundation brush might be.

The bristles are super dense and never once has the ferule touched my face or scraped off my makeup. I actually find that this brush blends rather than removes contour, blush, and highlight.

OH YES! The bristles are FULL, and you only need to apply small amount of pressure and product. I would DOUBT that any part of the brush except the bristles will touch your skin. No need to smash into your skin. This brush is revolutionary in my opinion!

Question
Comparison to Modeling Foundation Brush #111?
I am wanting to purchase a high quality foundation brush for medium coverage (acne & scarring) and was wondering how this compared to the Modeling Foundation Brush #111 so far as a flawless finish that lasts? I will be using the MUFE Mat Velvet Liquid Foundation. Since I can only afford one brush, I want to make the correct decision my first go-round. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Because of the curve of the bristles, I don't see this used for all over foundation. This is best used for highlighting or blending. It curves around the cheekbones nicely.

The modeling brush would ideally be used if you were doing a cream contour whereas the blender brush would be best used as a powder contour brush. You could use them both either way because they are both synthetic hair but the Blend Brush #134 is cut perfectly for blending dry products onto the contours of your face.

the best brush for this is the marc jacobs no. 11 it is an investment, it has synthetic bristles (which i never thought i would prefer) and is unbelievable. i have about fifty brushes and take very good care of them all--they are expensive--the marc jacobs one blows them all away. and no, i don't work or have anything to do with marc jacobs.

In stock
When will this brush be back in stock? It is literally sold out at my Sephora store and I look online everyday only to be disappointed by the "out of stock" notification :'( Everyone I know who has this brush is gaga over it, and I am dying to get my hands on it.

So to the point: when will this be back in stock?

I don't know when it will be back in stock but I do know when something I want is out of stock, I opt for the tell-me-when-it's-in-stock notification so that I can jump right on it before it's out of stock again.

I got mine from a Sephora inside JCP. I dont think the regular Sephora carries them. So checkout the smaller ones inside JCP if you have one nearby.
