How to should I clean this brush?
I apply a liquid foundation using this brush and was wondering how I should clean it so as not to pull out any of the bristles and almost bring it back to its original condition.

I clean my foundation brush with Philosophy Purity every day. I've owned my brush for 3 years (not the one in the pic) and it is still as good as the day I bought it!

I use a plain white soap bar (very affordable) and go to the sink. The just brush the soap bar and you will see the color show on the soap bar. Run soap bar under water to make it white again and repeat the process till you stop seeing the color come out. Make sure you rise the brush of well with water you can feel the soap come off the brush. And let it air dry. My brushes feel like I just bought them every time.

Cream Foundation
I need a brush that will work with cream foundation and I am torn between this one and the Cover FX Cream Foundation brush.

How do the 2 compare?

I figure the Cover FX one will work with their cream foundation well (which is the one I am fixing to get) but it would be nice to have a more "universal" brush that will work with liquid foundation, which is normally what I get but apply with a sponge.

So how do the 2 compare? Can I get the Sephora one and expect the same level of application and look as with the Cover FX one?

I use this with my Cover FX cream foundation and it's perfect. Like a flaw eraser.

The Cover Fx *Cream Foundation* Brush is flat so you can't really buff the foundation in for the flawess/poreless look. The Sephora #111 is round & dense so you can apply your foundation as well as buff in the product. If I'm not in a hurry I like using a sponge to apply my foundation then use the #111 to buff/smooth as a finishing touch. I prefer the sponge for application because I don't like applying my make-up with my fingertips. You can use the #111 to apply your foundation without a sponge, just dot foundation with finger tips, smooth out with brush.

Comparison to Blender Brush #134?
I am wanting to purchase a high quality foundation brush for medium coverage (acne scars) and was wondering how this compared to the Blender Brush #134 so far as a flawless finish that lasts? I will be using the MUFE Mat Velvet Liquid Foundation. Since I can only afford one brush, I want to make the correct decision my first go-round. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
