Probably not. I tried using this in place of a conditioner but noticed that my hair didn't seem as smooth. But that could also be because I have colored hair, which I flat iron every day, so I may just need more moisture. Hope this helps.

Depends on your age. 15 years ago, I would have found it to be a great solo product. I'm now 60 and I consider it to be a base product. I've been looking for a combo to make my hair look and feel more like it did 5+ years ago. My current solution is co-washing with Nexxus Humectress; 10-13 squirts of Caviar CC; and a small dollop of whatever styling product you favor. NOTE: The squirter doesn't dispense much product - 10-13 squirts is NOT a lot of product.

This is more of a styling cream, not a conditioner you use in the shower. Depending on your hair, perhaps you could compare it to a leave-in, but not for me or probably most people.

I have long hair (down to the bra strap), and I use about 2 dime-sized dollops. I apply this from the mid-length down and use the rest on the front otherwise it looks a bit too shiny by day 2.

I don't think there is a wrong answer to this question. If I'm using other products in my hair then I use 2 pumps. If I've just colored my hair I use 4 pumps. If it's a no product day, then I use 3 pumps. It's never felt like too much or too little. Love this stuff!!

I use it every day either on damp hair (best way) or a little on dry hair to tame the frizzies. I found that with routine use it is more effective in correcting damage. I have yet to see any type of build up on my hair.

Will this help tame my frizzy, wavy hair?
I have fine, frizzy, wavy hair that I blow-dry and iron straight. I want to be able to wear it naturally wavy, but I still need to find a product to tame the frizz and "bulkiness" of my natural texture. Will this help tame my unruly hair?

it depends how frizzy and curly your hair is. i find it tames dow friz a bit however you would benefit more from a different product made exactly for frizzy curly hair, i think this product would be too light for very curly, frizzy hair

Will this enhance or hinder my fine curly frizzy hair?
I am torn between this and Living Proof Hair Serum. I just want to use one product or 2 if i must to keep the curl and loose the frizz and find shine. I know that's asking a lot --- salesperson recommended Living Proof -- I just don't know what to buy at this point. I use Phyto shampoo and conditioner -- love them. Please help!!

I love this product. I can't say anything about the products you mentioned, but I read a beauty tip somewhere instead of using a towel to dry your hair, use a plain shirt. Gently press to rid of excess water. I tried it and voila no frizz! This CC cream smells amazing and it is lightweight, I have fine wavy, medium length hair and I don't need a lot. I was even surprised when I omitted using a conditioner, used this alone on damp hair, let it air dry and no frizz.

I have medium length, corse, straight hair and I use a total of 4 products for everything. This product, the living proof serum, a flexible hairspray (living proof) and another hairspray that's like concrete (bed head Masterpiece). That's it. if I had to choose 2, then I would choose this product and a flexible hairspray.

I have fine hair, a lot of it, but its fine and this is my magic potion. It does all the things I need without holding my hair down or ever making it feel greasy. Even after a couple days without using shampoo. I use the Phtyo conditioner for fine hair and these two have become my favorites. Don't need much, and you can still add texturizing cream if you want! I LOVE this 12 in 1 Cream

I have ,and the Alterna CC Cream is much better. I have dry, thick, color treated hair and the Living Proof leaves my hair sort of greasy and flat, I have to wash every other day with it where the Alterna I can get away with 3 days not washing...much better for my thick color treated hair. I love the Living Proof no frizz conditioner but this styling ream is so much better that Perfect Hair Day. So glad I tried it!
