I just purchased this and I am wondering if this should be applied before or after moisturizer in the morning? I would assume before but I wanted to double check!

Definitely apply before! I made the mistake of putting on my moisturizer once, so I quickly dabbed a little Total Matteness on my T-Zone. It still kept me matte, but it definitely works better when I put my moisturizer on last.

It depends on what you are using the product for. If you are using it for primarily the "pore-erasing effect", you could put it on before moisturizer. But if you want your face to be truly matte all day, I would put it on after your moisturizer has set in. Then you can get the true benefit of the oil barrier it creates for a nice matte, long-wear effect.

The directions say that you should use it morning and night, and it's supposed to eventually shrink your pores. However, I used to work at a dermatology office, and as far as what I've always heard, there aren't any products that will actually shrink the size of your pores. Since I don't want to waste the product, I only use it in the morning and it works great!

On the box, where it is reviewing the test results, it says that women who used the product twice a day saw a reduction of oiliness. So, if you are using this product to reduce oil than yes use twice a day. If you are only using this product to reduce the size of pores, than I would suggest only using it one a day, to spare the product, it is really expensive!

I wear this only if I go out in public. It's expensive!!! If I am having a long day, I may wash my face after 8 or 9 hours and reapply this followed by makeup. Remove all at bedtime and follow your nighttime beauty routine.

Yes, you can definitely use it as a primer, as it helps blur your pores and smooth the texture of your skin. I always apply it under my moisturizer, and if I'm going for a more natural look, I will apply a light foundation. If I need heavier coverage, I'll use a primer before I put on foundation, so it can be used both ways.

The only primer you need. For poor reducing - you can even only use this product without makeup but it is not tinted. It disappears and is absorbed by your skin immediately. Not "masky" like some primers feel. I don't know how this would work on dry skin but for oily, large poor skinned it is perfect.
