Yes, there is a slight burning/tingling sensation but you will have that with all hair removal products like this and Fuzz Off is the least offensive to my sensitive skin. Follow the instructions to avoid problems. Don't use soaps or astringents prior to use, I gently cleanse the area with cool water to remove surface impurities and then dab dry. I apply a thick layer to ensure full hair coverage and I leave it on no longer than 3 minutes. I remove it first with the applicator as instructed then use cool/lukewarm water and a cotton ball to gently remove any residual cream. I wait 24 hours before applying any soap or astringents to the treated area and voilà!

Make sure to read the directions throughly which will decrease the chance of feeling the burning sensation. Make sure not to wash your face or put on any astringent/toner or moisturizer before and after using the product. Just rinse with water and gently wipe off with a tissue. Also, make sure that there is no skin trouble like just-popped acne or cuts or any other skin issues where you are going to apply this product. Most importantly, the recommended time that is in the manual/directions is just a general reference to the consumers. So, depending on your hair and skin sensitivity, try decreasing the time of use for less chance of getting skin irritations. If you have more thick/stronger hair, try to keep it around the recommended time and if it still doesn't work, try to figure out the time that works best for you since it will be different for every one. Good luck.

No. As long as you keep it on for 2-3 minutes it did not burn my skin. I imagine if I left it on longer than it definitely would irritate my skin and burn.

It doesn't burn on application- just remove within time frame. I used Arran oil on after and it was perfect- no burn, no redness.

It started to burn on me after approx 4 minutes of having it on.After wiping it off it is still burning my face after 45 minutes. My face is still red and kind of numb also. I do not recommend using this unless you have really really tough skin. If you do try it, don't use it if you have to put makeup on anytime soon because my face is way too sore to the touch to put anything on it.

If it is burning you, you should immediately wipe the product off. You want to leave it on for a few minutes- I reccomend 2 minutes. This product is strong and works fast. I have very sensitive skin and 2 minutes works perfectly for me without making my skin red.

I applied this for 10 minutes, it might leave your skin a bit sensitive and may include some redness for a few hours. So it might not be a good idea to use if you will soon go out. But after a few hours it will go away. And no it does not burn.

You just apply it to the place you want your hair to be removed, for my case its my upper lip hair. Avoid the mouth and eye area, just let it sit there for 3-4 min and wallah its all gone. For me there is no irratation whatsoever. Love this product and definitely recomment you to try it!

It's SUPPOSED to burn off the hair, but only ends up burning off the skin for most users. That includes me.

It is like Nair for your face; spread the cream over your upper lip or, chin, let it sit for a few minutes then remove, with a moist tissue or, the nubby side of the applicator tip to remove unwanted hair. Or, unwanted skin; when I used it, it burned the skin right off the underside of my chin. It has a very strong chemical smell and is pretty harsh, IMO.

it works by taking a layer of your skin off and if it happens to pick up a few hairs, then that's all.

You take the cream and put it on your upper lip in a nice thick layer and then you leave it there for 3-4 minutes and then wipe off at first it wont come off but wipe a little harder and if it still hasn't come off leave it on for longer

You smoothe on the cream and the chemicals in the cream burn off the hair. You'll smell the chemicals and feel the burn, but your hair will come off.

It's used for upper lip, chin and side burns. DO NOT USE ON EYEBROWS OR NOSE HAIRS!

First, make sure your skin is clean and do not use any astringents or serums prior to using this.

Dab an even layer on preferred area with smooth tip side of the applicator. Leave on for about three minutes but do not exceed 10 minutes! Scoop off mixture with the beaded side of the applicator tip and use a washcloth to wipe off residue.

There is a chance that redness will occur but it does go away. Wait to put on serums, etc. until redness goes away.

If you experience discomfort then wash off with lukewarm water.

this has a built in applicator. sort of like a foundation brush. You will squeeze the bottle a bit until the cream starts to come out and star applying to face or area. every skin is different so the time you can leave it on is from 3 to 10 minutes. Wet a paper towel or hand towel with warm water and remove cream from face. The hair will then come off too. Box says not to use anykind of soap or toner for at least 2 hours. But I do wear moisturizer and it helps my skin.

How do you get the product out of the pen?
I turned the cap to on, I pulled the clear plastic tip out and tried to puncture the small opening with scissors and nothing comes out. Help.

Did you twist the top to "On"? Not in the instructions and it took me a minute to figure that out myself.

Take off the cap and twist the plastic near the rubbery tip to use. I didn't use mine for awhile and the product seems to have dried between the applicator and the product coming out area. So, I gently pulled out the rubbery tip and took a thin toothpick (needle would work too) and poked the dried area and took out the dried product from the rubbery tip as well. Slid back on the rubbery applicator and it worked. Good luck :)

This isn't really an answer, but I cannot get mine to come out either despite lining up the arrow to the "ON" side of the inner tube. It seems like it is just faulty. I will return.

I know...it was a little confusing. You also have to twist the inner cap. You'll notice a sort of arrow on the cap that needs to line up with the tube. Sorry to see you punctured the top. Hope that didn't ruin it entire.y.

Question
Darken skin over time?
Products like Nair that are used on your face are known to darken your skin over multiple uses. Does this do that? It's a bit counterproductive if it removes the hair, but gives you perma 5 o'clock shadow.

Question
Regrowth?
Does the hair grow in thicker/darker when using this product? I've never used a hair remover on my face and just have that annoying peach fuzz. I don't want to use this if I'm going to have to keep it up because it made the hair noticeable.

No, the hair does not grow back darker. In fact, it seems a little lighter. Watch the time carefully; the instructions on the package say three minutes and for my skin, which is not sensitive, more than three minutes is too long.
