I have naturally curly hair and have found Ouidad products to be the best ever. They're sold at Sephora, as well as online direct from Ouidad, but you can go to the Ouidad website to determine which products are best for your type of hair and curls. It's really helpful.

I condition my hair first, then shampoo. My hair is very fine and wavy and I find that using a wide tooth comb really helps. Blot your hair-don't rub it with a towel as it will make it harder to comb. On the days I don't condition first, I use Deva-Curl frizz free foam on wet hair, and my comb glides right through.
Mist-er Right is a product I use daily. It doesn't NOT de-tangle curls; that is not the purpose of the product. What it does is help bring definition back to flattening or frizzing curls, throughout the day. The scent is heavenly. Devacurl has de-tangling products, I believe the one called Set it Right is a good one.
