Can I put it directly onto my bareskin? I only prefer a suncreen with a little tint to even my uneven skin.

That's exactly how I use it, directly on bare skin and blend. Seems to work well.

I use it without any primers/lotions. It is slightly drying, so I moisturize heavily at night.

I use it on bare skin to even things out a bit and have been very happy so far. Light and natural while providing some coverage for redness, small blemishes.

Yes, I put this directly onto my skin. I just shower, then put this on with my hands as I would a moisturizer, but that's it. It acts as my mositurizer, sunscreen and "foundation" all in one. Nice and natural and my skin doesn't get dry.

You should get Color 3. All the colors are pretty light regardless so if you're honey beige, go for the darkest one.

Question
Because I am medium yellow undertoned Asian, I want to know the undertone of this BB: is it pink or yellow undertone?
I find this product quite interesting but because I cannot find much review and swatches of it, I wonder if it's suitable to my skin tone which is medium yellow undertone.

I'm Asian as well and I'm very fair. I wear shade 1, but all the shades in the range are yellow-based and very forgiving. It's very blenable and works great as a sun protectant AND as a tinted product.

Question
Is it necessary to apply a layer of moisturizer underneath this Shiseido UV protector?
I've been told to always layer moisturizer underneath everything, especially sunscreen as if its the vital part of my make up ritual. Is it completely necessary for this product? Will it cause future malfunction to my skin if I don't? Doesn't it have a moisturizing property that takes care of the skin already?

Sincerely,
Beauty Noob

I don't. I have combination skin and all sunscreens seem to moisturize all day. When I use additional moisturizer it can get greasy looking. This sunscreen by itself feels lightweight and non-greasy.

Yes, add moisturizer under this and have the tinted sunscreen be the top layer. In summer you might be able to wear it alone, but I have dry skin and wouldn't recommend attempting it without moisturizer underneath. Remember it's a tinted sunscreen, not a tinted moisturizer.

Yes, you must. It is not a moisturizer but it won't dry you out like some sunscreen.

answer 4
You could probably just use this if you find that it's moisturizing enough. The idea is to make sure your skin is hydrated enough and doesn't feel dry or tight. Many moisturizers provide benefits to your skin that something which is just a sunscreen will not; like anti-aging, promoting cell turnover, plumping wrinkles, lightening dark spots, etc. But if your skin is happy and well hydrated with only this product, then of course you can just use that.

If what is above (or below, I don't know where my answer will end up) is correct, there little to no PHYSICAL uv sun protection for (I think it's) UVB which are the aging sun rays. Titanium Dioxide provides verrrry, verrrry little. Zinc Oxide provides the most for UVB.

It has a chemical and physical SPF which can be irritating to a sensitive skin so I would go with one that only has physical SPF such as Zinc Oxide which is a great option for your skin type.

You'd apply it with your fingers just as you'd apply moisturizer. Put a few healthy drops at the center of your face (ie. nose, forehead, chin) and blend outward covering your whole face with the product.

The product is pretty flexible. I have light to medium skin and use the 2. I would say super light skin should use a 1, but my skin gets pretty light in the dead of winter and the 2 is still fine for me.

I found that this product really matches to my tone. I have very fair skin with red undertones and I am shade 1. The shade 2 still blended in ok, just made me look I had a hint of a tan and I'd rather stay my natural pale. I hope that helps!
