I put lotion and sunscreen on underneath this product. It works fine...unless the bb cream is tinted. I wouldn't recommend using it underneath, unless the two colors mix well for you skin.

The Dr. Jart+ CC essence balm has both physical and chemical sunscreen ingredients ( titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, octinoxate, etc). However, in asia, they tend to mix BB and CC cream. I personally like this method as you do not have to risk disturbing the bottom layer (no matter which you apply first).
