Is it normal for a brand-new brush to have several empty holes? (It looks like it's missing bristles.)
The number of bristles in each hole does not seem to be consistent but, most noticeably, I have three holes in a row at the bottom of the brush that have zero bristles. There are also other holes haphazardly placed on the brush that have zero bristles.

I have not used this brush or the dryer yet. I just received the package today. What I noticed with this brush is that there are several holes with no bristles and where there are bristles lots of them are bent. It almost appears as if this is a used brush. I say this because I saw one review that said after using it the bristles became bent. I am disappointed.

NO, no, no. Send it back. Get a replacement. All the holes should have bristles. It's crucial for the result. You must have just gotten a bum one.

No, I would take it in to Sephora to exchange it for another brush. I really do like mine very much, it was a smart purchase. I blow out my own hair about 3x a week, or every 3rd day and this brush honestly takes about ten min off my time. Watch the angle you are holding it while drying, or you might end up with a slight kink in your hair. ;)
