drybar Full Pint Medium Round Brush

What it is:A medium round ceramic brush great for medium to long hair and for straightening short to medium length hair. What it does:NanoIonic technology in the barrel and bristles helps reduce frizz and add shine. Cuticles are sealed, producing a smooth, soft texture from roots to ends. It creates loose curls and waves in medium to long hair and helps straighten and add volume to shorter and medium styles. It features a lightweight, ergonomic design with a streamlined, one-piece handle to eliminate hair catching and pulling. The ceramic barrel heats up during blow-drying—helping to lock in volume and curl—and the vents allow air to flow freely, decreasing dry time.

Questions & Answers for drybar Full Pint Medium Round Brush

Question
Is it normal for a brand-new brush to have several empty holes? (It looks like it's missing bristles.)
The number of bristles in each hole does not seem to be consistent but, most noticeably, I have three holes in a row at the bottom of the brush that have zero bristles. There are also other holes haphazardly placed on the brush that have zero bristles.

I have not used this brush or the dryer yet. I just received the package today. What I noticed with this brush is that there are several holes with no bristles and where there are bristles lots of them are bent. It almost appears as if this is a used brush. I say this because I saw one review that said after using it the bristles became bent. I am disappointed.

NO, no, no. Send it back. Get a replacement. All the holes should have bristles. It's crucial for the result. You must have just gotten a bum one.

No, I would take it in to Sephora to exchange it for another brush. I really do like mine very much, it was a smart purchase. I blow out my own hair about 3x a week, or every 3rd day and this brush honestly takes about ten min off my time. Watch the angle you are holding it while drying, or you might end up with a slight kink in your hair. ;)

Question
Does the handle rip out hair?
I had many blowout brush with a gap on their handle causing hair caught in it. Can someone tell me does this brush do that? It would be nice to know before purchasing another. Thanks!

This brush does NOT have the awful gap to catch and pull your hair. In fact, this was a major selling point for me. I have curly hair and blow my hair out several times a week and this is, hands down, the absolute best round brush I've ever owned. Worth every penny!

it's about a 2" diameter. As big as you'd want but if you have short hair, you'd want the 1/2 pint. I have thick hair about shoulder length and the full pint is perfect!

I have very thick curly hair and I find this to be amazing! Just be sure you only have enough hair on there to cover the bristles, no more. But really, it is definitely worth buying!

Great for thick hair! The bristles really "grab on" without tangling or tugging. Super smooth glide.

I think it depends on how straight, wavy or curly you want it. I have mid length fine curly hair and use a large brush and love the results. Your hair will really shine if you straighten it.
