Worth the hefty price(compared to other similar clips)??
I have some similar plastic "alligator" clips from a beauty supply store that cost about $7 for 4. The ones I have are the best I have found so far that hold my fine, wavy hair with minimal slippage. Does anyone think these "Hold Me" clips are superior? Thank you!

They do the job, don't crease my hair or make it bent and wavy. However, if those you purchased at the beauty store are working for you and are less expensive why would you want to purchase more?

They are not rubberized. You can get a four pack for $6.00 of rubberized alligator clips at a local Sally's beauty supply store. Rubberized alligator clips work much better.

These clips do very well holding my fine, curly hair. My hair doesn't fall out of the clips and if I need to pin up my hair that's already been styled, they don't mess up anything. I would definitely recommend these clips.
Without knowing what the ones you already purchased are like, I can say these clips are INCREDIBLE. Zero complaints.

Honestly, these clips are great but if you have some that you have had great results with, I would stick with those. These clips have a really nice design to them that allows them to hold large amounts of thick, heavy hair. I am satisfied but I wouldn't pay $16 for them again.
