Many of teh colors creaxe on me and I do not have oily eyelids. It even creases when I use a primer. The only shade I've tried that doesn't crease is Goldstone and unfortunately, that feels like you applied a glue stick to your eyelid.

Not if you set them with a eyeshadow. apply it on one eye blend at the edges then apply eyeshadow over the top blend it. It will set and your good to go make sure you do one eye at a time so you have some playtime to blend.....and if your really oily apply a primer on before

Question
Medium Beige Tan
I would love a smokey look around my eyes. Being in my 60's would not want anything dark or harsh. Is the Medium Beige Tan a little darker than the color shown? It is a beautiful color, just looks too light for undereye. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about that exact color, but I do know that the colors are much darker in person than it shows on the website. Hope that helps!

It is too light for smokey eye. Use the grayish one instead. That is really pretty.

Sand Dune is a little darker than shown, but not much. I wear Bobbi Brown foundation in Beige and it contrasts enough with my skin tone to show up on my upper eyelids as an eyeshadow, but I tried it on my lower lash line as a liner and it is barely detectable. So, I wouldn't recommend it for that purpose. It looks very nice in the crease or as an all-over color.

Question
Do they Shimmer?
I'd love to get the dark brown, but don't like when these sticks leave shimmer behind. I bought the MUFA Equatic stick in a gorgeous bronzey brown, but returned it because it left sparkles on my face!

No, it does not leave sparkles on your face. They do have shimmer but the shimmer will stay on your eyelids.

A few of the lighter colours (rosegold, moonlight, amethyst) are shimmery shades however they are not extremely shimmery/brightening (like the josie maran coconut watercolours/ benefit creaseless cream eyeshadows). The darker shades (cocoa) tend to have more of a satiny/matte finish.

I like these way better as they are more long lasting and the Laura Mercier caviar sticks are way too glittery.

answer 2
As someone who has tried both these products I find the coconut watercolours to be more blendable and pigmented (a little definitely goes a long way) I would say the watercolours are very brightening but if you are looking for a more neutral/muted or smokey eye look the caviar eye colour sticks will be the better option! I find I reach for the eye sticks on an everyday basis and the watercolours on special occasions.
