It is ALWAYS best to try in the store but hopefully this can help:

Amore Pacific Color Compact SHADES go by COMPLEXION: Fair/Dark AND UNDERTONE: Pink/Yellow (Pink Undertones look better w/ "cool" colors like blue/fuchsia & YELLOW Undertones look better in colors like: brown, green, beige)

*LIGHTEST Shade (US Market) -> #104 "Tan Blush" (Fair Complexion/Pink Undertone),
*Medium Shade w/ Pink Undertone: #106 "Almond Blush" is DARKER (Deep Complexion/Pink Undertone) than #104

NEXT Lightest Shade (US Market) -> #204 "Tan Gold" (Fair Complexion/Yellow Undertone - if you look good in brown, green colors)
*Darkest Shade: #208 (Dark Complexion/Yellow Undertone)

#102 is LIGHTER than #104 (US Shade) but 102 is ONLY sold in Korea.

#104 is too dark for me unless I have a tan (I am Korean). I was lucky enough to have a friend from Korea give the #102 to me as a gift. Very fair skinned friends (think Nicole Kidman color) have seen #102 on me, loved/admired greatly so we tried #102 on their skin and it IS BEAUTIFUL - makes the skin extra radiant/ and luminescent yet STILL very NATURAL looking.

*USE the sponge only (no brush) as it's specially designed for this formula (does not soak in any color). Pat the color on w/ the sponge (I put 2 fingers in the sponge strip and "roll" the sponge from one end of 1st finger to the end of 2nd finger. this will distribute the color evenly instead of splotches of color. "Rolling" motion is key! (vs. moving the sponge side to side like old school style which will not look as nice).

I heard Amore Pacific is working on more colors but as #102 is ALREADY sold in Korea - PLEASE BRING #102 to the US Market!!! There is a huge need for #102 in the US for very fair skinned ladies!

This Amore Pacific Compact is AMAZING - complete game changer for me. I refused to wear foundation my entire life (I'm 47) and this year I tried Dr. Jart's Premium BB after seeing how it gave a "lit from within" /"beam of light" quality to the skin. It still bugged me to put it all over my face (I feel smothered). On vacation in Korea 1.5 months ago, I noticed how Korean ladies had this "radiant/luminescent" quality to their skin which no offense, I knew it was not their skin but a product they were using. A friend showed me this Compact & I am sold! Using this is such a treat (I feel feminine & glam). After 2 days of no sleep on the flight from Seoul -> NY, I arrived to work exhausted/fried & every female commented how RADIANT I looked. I'm HOOKED!

This is in reference to the colors on my previous answer. Shade number 204 is too light on me, while shade number 106 is a bit too dark. Sorry for the confusion.

I have one of those in between skin tones. Number 204 is too light for me, while number 204 is a bit too dark. I love the feel of this make up on my face. It creates a flawless look! I tried both colors separately and layered. When I layered, I obtained the perfect match for my skin tone. I would advise anyone whom is interested in purchasing this product to stop by a Sephora. After application, walk around a little bit, and then give yourself a second look at the color on your face.

I would go to a store for shade matching, it's really the only way to get an exact match. All their makeup products have the same shade number. So if you're a 104 in the tinted moisturizer than you're a 104 for this.
As for applications, the directions above are pretty accurate. You'll want to use a brush or the included puff. Fingers will warm the product, which will take away the cooling effect.

I found that the four colors available don't match my skin perfectly. I wear 020 DIORSKIN/DIORSNOW. I'm light/medium and I need 202 in this AMOREPACIFIC cushion foundation. This color is not available in the American markets. However, I know some people who are SLIGHTLY darker than I am and they use 204.

First I tried #204 upon the associate's recommendation, but it was too pink for my fair/medium/yellowish skin, which sounds like yours. I returned it and #104 turned out to be a perfect match, but remember a little goes a long way.

It is pretty much a liquid. You get the product by lightly pressing the pad into the sponge. It gives a dewy finish. Not suitable for oily skin.

This product is more of a liquidy cream. It's very light and the end result is not matte. You get a dewy, glowing skin finish. It comes in a compact with a color sponge.

It is a liquid suspended in a sponge-like compact filler. And as rare as it is, the included applicator is perfect because it doesn't absorb and waste too much of the product. It dries to a sheer satin finish that doesn't allow much breakthrough of my oily skin throughout the day. LOVE IT!

You don't really need a primer, however, it depends on your skin type. If your skin is oily/combination, then use a primer; the cushion originally gives you a dewy look.

I wouldn't use a primer. This product still looks freshly applied after 12 hours, and covers my pores perfectly. It also feels so light and airy I think a primer is totally unnecessary.

answer 3
I recommend using a primer to help with the staying power. Also, if you have large pores a primer really helps make this product look more perfect. I have tried it with and without primer and got longer lasting results with primer. Plus, I have large pores and the primer allowed the product to just glide over them with no settling and my pores were invisible after application.

I wouldn't suggest using a primer as I think this would defeat some of the benefits for your skin. I do suggest some kind of powder to set it once it's on your face as it wears off pretty easily.

I received a sample of this at some point, and the "puff" was so small it was nearly impossible to use. I started using my Urban Decay foundation brush and it works GREAT. Now even with the larger size I use that brush.

The puff which is included is the only way to get proper application of the product. And, the pressing of the sponge color pad onto the puff then pressed onto the face is how it's done. If done correctly the product is amazing

At this moment it doesn't seem like AmorePacific offers refills for sale. However in order to make sure you use the cc cream to its fullest extent, you can flip the pre-soaked sponge over and find more cc cream at the bottom of the sponge. I've done it a couple of times with mine and it literally lasts so much longer. :)

SHADES go by Complexion/Undertone: Fair/Dark - Pink/Yellow

*LIGHTEST Shade (US Market) -> #104 "Tan Blush" (Fair Complexion/Pink Undertone), #106 "Almond Blush" is DARKER than 106 (Deep Complex/Pink Undertone)

NEXT Lightest Shade (US Market) -> #204 "Tan Gold" (Fair Complexion/Yellow Undertone - if you look good in brown, green colors) & #208 is the Darkest Color (Dark Complexion/Yellow Undertone)

#102 is LIGHTER than #104 but 102 is ONLY sold in Korea. #104 is too dark for me unless I have a tan. I was lucky enough to have a friend from Korea give the #102 to me as a gift. Very fair skinned friends (think Nicole Kidman color) have seen #102 on me, loved/admired so we tried #102 on their skin and it IS BEAUTIFUL - makes the skin extra radiant/ and luminescent yet STILL very NATURAL looking.

PLEASE BRING #102 to the US Market!!! There is a huge need for #102 in the US for very fair skinned ladies!

You don't have to use powder on top, however some people don't like the "dewy" look. You can put finishing powder if you don't like that "dewy" look. However if you're super oily, it would probably be a good idea to use powder on top.

How long does this product last?
I've been using this CC cream for about 2 weeks and I feel like I'm almost done with it! The Sephora associate told me one compact would last 3-4 months, so the 2 compacts would last me 6-8 months. I make sure to close the compact when not in use so the formula does not evaporate. Did I just receive a defective/used compact??

You'll probably want to flip the sponge over a few times to get every last bit. Need to be careful though as you can lose product when taking the sponge in and out. If you flip the sponge when you notice the sponge not releasing a lot of cc then it should last you a good long time.

I had the same concern about how long this would last, since it is not easily apparent how much is left in the compact. But, when I went into my local Sephora, the sales associate showed me that if you lift up the edge of the sponge in the bottom, you can see what's left. I've been using it for 2 months, applying almost every day. It should last me maybe 2 months more, I think. My purchase came with a refill. I love this stuff!

It seemed that way to me, too, but then when you push on the edges, quite a bit comes out. I've been putting the sticker that originally came on it back over the opening before closing it to ensure it doesn't dry out. So far, it's lasted me about a month of using it 3-4 times a week.
