It is not thick at all. It allows you to draw a very thin line - very precise.

The tip is fairly fine, so when I want a thin line I just use the tip of the liner and when trying to apply a thicker line I turn it a little more to the side. I am not very experienced with lining just yet but if I can do it then it is possible.

it was a challenge for me to get a thin line. I've had the most success using an eyeliner (flat head) brush and eye shadow with a little bit of water. (Bobbi Brown makes great shadows for this)

The liner can be used to make thin or thick lines. It really depends on you.

This does not perform smoothly on top eyelid. thick and spacey, not a smooth line at all.

It is thick, there's no doubt about it. If your up to experiment with a new eye liner, I would say go for it, and you might even like experimenting with a fatter line, or a cat eye. I used to avoid doing cat eye because it can be tedious, but its fool proof and fast with this liner. More directly answering your question, you can find something that is better at delivering a thinner line. I think Stila makes a thinner marker.

I'd say it leans more thicker, but you can use it very precisely (but I mostly use it for thicker lines)

Comes off easy when you wash but not easy to correct if you make a mistake. You totally have to wash off and start over or just go with thicker lines. But yes it does wash off well, much better than others I've used actually.

You will need to use a face wash and warm water, or a makeup remover to remove the liner.

Lets start with, always wash your face before bed. If your using a face wash, comes off super easy, and you wont wake up with residue around your eyes either.

It takes a while for it to completely dry out, especially because you need more layers to make it look black enough. When dry, it's very easy for this product to smudge and doesn't wear all day long.
