You may find so if you do your face makeup first. start with the eyes and you'll have no problems

No. This product is shimmery, but it doesn't have any glitter or larger pieces that would clump/fall. And it is a pressed powder, not a loose one, so as long as you don't grind your brush into the palette, you will get a smooth (and fall-free) application.

Yes it does. I have to be very careful with the box and the shadows. Having said that, I think its my favorite palette ever, so to me its totally worth it.

Not much. Use the right brush and technique and there is no problem.

It does have fallout, but not enough to stop a person from buying it. I would recommend applying your eyeshadow before your foundation for an easy fix, and still be able to enjoy the product.

No sparkle fall out like UD. I do use a shadow shield or lash guard when blending just in case, but nothing underneath or on cheekbones later like the UDs.

It's very shimmery, and it does apply almost like a loose pigment when picking it up on your brush- just make sure to use a gentle hand and tap/lightly blow on your brush before applying and you shouldn't have a problem!

Question
Can the shadows be used for a less intense smoky eye?
I am a newbie to smoky eye. I am very picky. Do you think this is a good palette to start with?

not really. if you have pale skin or white/Caucasian skin tone then you may want to start off with the naked 2 palette

Absolutely! There are 2 shades of purple, and the lighter one would be perfect for a less intense smoky eye. I use the lighter shade during the day and the darker shade for when I'm going out.

Yes it can, but you have to be careful. The two colors on the end are very, very dark. It's beautiful for a smoky eye, but not the best for a less dramatic look. I always lightly use the next to last shade for a light smoky eye, with the blue/green shade in the middle and the light shade in the corners. I hope I have dissuaded you from buying the product. It's amazing!

This is a great palette, great quality the colors can be layered to make them more intense, play with it and have fun. If your not ready for fully dark smokey, the darker colors make excellent eyeliners

This is a great brand to try out and a super deal. You can make your smokey eye as dark or light depending on how much shadow you use-build it up for a darker look. You can't beat Sephora's return policy so if it is not for you don't be afraid to return it. Return shipping is free or you can return it to a Sephora store. No hassles-believe me I spend a lot and have my fair share of returns.

The shadows in this pallet are a normal size. The kit itself is actually quite nice other than the mascara, but the mascara is basically free.

Question
Is the set that is sold in stores different from the set online?
I purchased this product last Friday at Sephora and it only came with the pallettte. I got a compliment at work on my eyes and they wanted to know what it was. So I went online to send my co-worker the link and saw that it comes with a mascara and a gel online. I did not get these products all I got was the pallette, mini eye primer and mini brush. I'm so disappointed that it comes with two other products that I didn't receive. I also didn't receive my 2x points even after I reminded the cashier about the promotion. So disapointed in my Sephora purchase.

I purchased online and mine came with the palette, eye primer, application brush, eyeliner, and mascara. I would recommend returning the product when the manager is there. I have had to do it in the past when a brush was missing from a Bare Minerals set I purchased, and they were really nice about it. Good luck!
