answer 1
Blush and concealer brushes are regular size , shorter than my Sephora pro brushes but long enough to fit in my brush canister ..the 3 eye brushes are SMALL , like pinky finger length and I hate them for it. Never use them because they're just so tiny :/ But for the price of the sale right now , the blush/powder and concealer brushes are VERY worth it, great quality and size I use them almost daily if for doubling up on products as I use my Sephora pro brushes for concealer and blush first then these brushes for my eye under concealer and bronzer :) great price

They are average length. They aren't short "travel sized" brushes.

I need a smudge brush. Is the crease brush comparable to a smudge brush?

answer 1
No. A smudge brush would have shorter, more dense/sturdy bristles. I think you could get away with using it to smudge with just because it seems to be pretty versatile, though. It's kind of a little do-all brush, but I like it best for the crease.

answer 2
I don't think you'd find this crease brush to be a good substitute for a smudge brush. It's too soft. But the liner brush might do the trick.
