I want to say this is one of the better concealers out there as far as creasing goes. There is a little creasing, but that's just life I guess. It's minimal, though.

It creases at first, but once it dries, it doesn't budge. I apply mine, let it settle which I put on the rest of my makeup and then go back an smudge away any fine lines. Don't wait too long because once it's dry, it's hard to manipulate. When I use this over an eye cream, it does really well.

I am nearly 40 & have fine wrinkles/lines under my eyes, out of the may concealers I have tried this one seems to stay put the best with minimal creasing. I first heard about this from youtube make up artist Goss & decided to give it a try, and I LOVE it! I set with a little translucent powder & it lasts all day.

Question
Would this concealer work for dry/combination skin for under eye circles?
I have dark circles under my eyes that have a purple tint to them that I am trying to find a concealer for. I ordered the Laura Mercier Camouflage concealer in SC-3 a few days ago but after reading reviews on it I am not sure if it will work for my skin type since I have fairly dry/combination skin. I have beige/medium skin tone with yellow and slight pink undertones. Would this product be the most beneficial in concealing under eye circles without cracking or creasing on my dryer skin type?

If you are near a Sephora, go in and allow the ladies there to color match your skin and skintone. I use this concealer along with Dr. Brandt Skincare dark circles away collegen eye serum. No creases or cracking. Very creamy and smooth application. Worked wonders on my puffiness and dark circles.

I am not an expert but based on my own dry/oily skin I can confirm that this product won't affect it. Sometimes my skin will also flake on its on but this product doesn't affect it at all. I use it under my eyelids as well as my t-zone. One concealer I wouldn't recommend though is smashbox HD concealer. that one, in fact, dries out my dry skin. get a sample of this nars one and see for yourself! hope it works well.

I would say no. I don't really have dark circles, just a bit of the blue cast in the inner corner. I ended up getting the Bobbi Brown concealer in bisque. The pink cancels out the blue, and it really works! Try out in store before purchasing, or get a sample. I find the lighting in Sephora is different than at home or daylight.

Yes, I found it very dry and drying. It clung to flakes that I wouldn't see on bare skin or with any other concealer. It also made me look like I had serious lines under my eyes, because of the dry and scaly finish. I am only 24 and don't even have fine lines, so it was shocking how much it made it looks like I had bad lines. I returned it.

No it has not creased at all for me. I usually apply my hourglass primer then the concealer with the applicator or with a brush. I then blend with my beauty blender to get rid of streaks and lines, if any. This method works well for me and lasts for hours. Hope this helps!

Question
Fair skin- need color suggestion please!
I have reddish brown hair, blue eyes, and VERY fair skin with pink undertones. I really have a hard time finding foundation. I'm currently using Tarte BB Tinted Treatment in Fair and Tarte Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation in Fair Honey. I tried Nars several years ago and could not find a light enough shade with pink undertones... So I'm unsure of what concealer to try. I eventually would like to purchase Nars foundation as well. Color suggestions for the concealer are much appreciated. I was thinking Chantilly or Vanilla?

Vanilla is pink toned, Chantilly is more neutral and quite a bit fairer.

I would say Chantilly is equvilant to Nars Siberia and Vanilla to Mont Blanc.

If you did not match their foundations it would be unlikely that you match a concealer.

Above is a great blog about this that shows color swatches and wand and tube swatches in full array of colors. I am fair but think I will go with the Honey instead of Vanilla because Nars tends to run light in the lighter makeup shades. Also, some reviewer said that the Vanilla is pretty light - a peach color corrects blue circles better than pink and might have more pigment - blue and pink-white makes lavender.

I have chantilly and its almost white, vanilla is also very light. I would go for either honey or custard. If you can't get to a store to try it out first then i would suggest looking up swatches of the colors online so you can compare. If you do end up buying a color that doesn't match you can exchange or return.

Question
What color should i choose ?
I am fair to light but more on the light side with yellow undertones. I do have drier skin underneath my eyes so concealers tend to be noticeable. I got custard and found it to be a little orangey on my skin . It was too dark. I also plan to use this concealer for redness and pimples here and there . Is this concealer right for me ? If so what shade should I get ? Thank you in advance !

I have fair-light skin with yellow undertones and I use the Vanilla shade (see attached photo). I also tend to have dry-ish skin under my eyes and my skin texture there is a little strange (scaly or bumpy), which concealer frequently brings-out. However, this concealer is better than most in that it doesn't really accentuate the skin texture/dryness. It looks pretty smooth. Obviously, it doesn't work miracles, but it's better than most.
I've also found it to be very useful for covering up pimples and redness.

I sound the same colour as you and I also found custard to be a little dark. I have the NARS stick concealer in Chantilly and found it to be too light! I tried mixing the two but it didn't really work. So then I tried mixing the Custard with a tube of Cover FX concealer in x-light (which was slightly too light) and it matches perfectly. Also makes a nice smooth formula when mixed together thankfully. I just wish NARS would make an in between shade for us fair-light yellow-toned girls :)

i just bought this concealer for the same reason, a little dryness under the eye. I also have very fair skin and bought chantilly, the lightest shade because vanilla was too pink, however it was too light, almost white under the eye. I found it to grab onto any dryness and create a wrinkled even dryer look on my undereye. I don't believe it to be hydrating at all. I would recommend Lancome effacernes in iviore or the next shade down. And it really truly lasts all day and covers well. Use a good under eye cream too! Good luck :)

I have dry sensitive skin (this summer made it worse). I wanted to correct this before winter hit and I completely cracked. I was told to try First Aid Beauty cleanser, oatmeal scrub (three times a week at first, now I only use once a week), and ultra repair cream (face cream without SPF because my skin was that sensitive in the morning and the regular cream at night for extra hydration, I also use Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel toner (without alcohol, before moisturising) all for my uber super sensitive dry skin. My skin is NOW no longer flaking, my dry patches - gone, and I love it! I look great with or without makeup (now that I'm not ashamed of the flaking skin). With all that having been said, this does not flake (I set mine with a translucent powder). Good luck!
