I want to say this is one of the better concealers out there as far as creasing goes. There is a little creasing, but that's just life I guess. It's minimal, though.

It creases at first, but once it dries, it doesn't budge. I apply mine, let it settle which I put on the rest of my makeup and then go back an smudge away any fine lines. Don't wait too long because once it's dry, it's hard to manipulate. When I use this over an eye cream, it does really well.

I am nearly 40 & have fine wrinkles/lines under my eyes, out of the may concealers I have tried this one seems to stay put the best with minimal creasing. I first heard about this from youtube make up artist Goss & decided to give it a try, and I LOVE it! I set with a little translucent powder & it lasts all day.

Question
Would this concealer work for dry/combination skin for under eye circles?
I have dark circles under my eyes that have a purple tint to them that I am trying to find a concealer for. I ordered the Laura Mercier Camouflage concealer in SC-3 a few days ago but after reading reviews on it I am not sure if it will work for my skin type since I have fairly dry/combination skin. I have beige/medium skin tone with yellow and slight pink undertones. Would this product be the most beneficial in concealing under eye circles without cracking or creasing on my dryer skin type?

If you are near a Sephora, go in and allow the ladies there to color match your skin and skintone. I use this concealer along with Dr. Brandt Skincare dark circles away collegen eye serum. No creases or cracking. Very creamy and smooth application. Worked wonders on my puffiness and dark circles.

I am not an expert but based on my own dry/oily skin I can confirm that this product won't affect it. Sometimes my skin will also flake on its on but this product doesn't affect it at all. I use it under my eyelids as well as my t-zone. One concealer I wouldn't recommend though is smashbox HD concealer. that one, in fact, dries out my dry skin. get a sample of this nars one and see for yourself! hope it works well.

I would say no. I don't really have dark circles, just a bit of the blue cast in the inner corner. I ended up getting the Bobbi Brown concealer in bisque. The pink cancels out the blue, and it really works! Try out in store before purchasing, or get a sample. I find the lighting in Sephora is different than at home or daylight.

It covers acne nicely (the redness is completely gone!) However, on acne scars it covers but for mine it does not cover it completely so you can still see the darkness of where it is. If you have light acne scars then it would work nicely for you.

Yes, I found it very dry and drying. It clung to flakes that I wouldn't see on bare skin or with any other concealer. It also made me look like I had serious lines under my eyes, because of the dry and scaly finish. I am only 24 and don't even have fine lines, so it was shocking how much it made it looks like I had bad lines. I returned it.

It's darker than you'd think. I'm not a pale white and it's still a bit dark for me after I've lost my summer tan. However, it would be too light on some darker olive skin tones.

There's a really big gap between Honey and the one colour that's lighter than it. Honey is too dark and the colour lighter than it (forget the name...vanilla?) is way too light for me :/

You may need to exfoliate a bit better, or perhaps get a microdermabrasion and/or chemical peel to rid your face of any dry patches. Serums and moisture mask and night cream will help after you exfoliate (if used regularly). This concealer will highlight dry patches if you dont have a smooth moisturized base to apply it to.

This concealer is a little tricky to use some days for that reason - it will cling to dryness and even if you just pat it in place, some days it will still look streaky. I would suggest using another concealer if you haven't prepped your skin enough first. I use a rich under-eye cream overnight and then put another cream on in the morning before I apply this concealer. It seems to help, but if you have very dry skin, you might need to be even more careful.

I have dry skin and it doesn't cling to my dry spots. I was afraid that would happen but it doesn't for me. Even if you buy it and then see that you don't like it, take or send it back and explain that it did not fulfill your needs, you can get your money back.

I really prepare my skin before applying make up. I exfoliate very gently the night before or the day (baking soda is very gentle), or if you want to spend the $$, the Enzyme mask by SKU is great. I make my own "goop" like MUA Charlotte Tilbury and let it soak into my skin for 5-10 minutes before I apply this. My GOOP is a moisturizer, with Rose Hip Oil, Pure Aloe Vera Oil, Argan Oil and Hyaluronic Acid that binds that water and moisture to your skin. This is a THICK concealer to you need to have very moisturized skin before using it. I love it though, and use it daily.
